Hi everyone! I seem to be on a bit of a roll for Wednesday's at least!! For this week I pulled out an old stamp that I am not even sure when I got it from but just love this sentiment. I've been wanting to use my rose cameo's for so long. I thought they were so neat when I bought them last summer but could never figure out what to do with them. I'm not sure how I feel about them on this card but kept them there anyway! We all do that from time to time right? :)

Hi everyone! I still don't have a lot of time to stamp right now but I wanted to be sure to make a card for my "Way Back Wednesday". CSS Alumni Hop!!!

Hi everyone and welcome to this month's GKD CSS Alumni hop!! If you've arrived from Melissa's then you are on the right track, if not be sure to head over to Stamp TV to start at the beginning! For this hop Carolina has challenged us to make treat holders or decorate a container. This challenge was perfect for me. Every year we give our nephews cash and I like to try new ways to present it to them. I was stumped for a while but then the idea of a candy bar came to mind and the wheels kept on turning! I decided to make a wallet of sorts, a pocket for the money and a pocket for the candy bar. It didn't turn out exactly as I imagined but it is the first template I've made so it is ok!

Hi everyone!! Tonight I wanted to play in this weeks featured stamper challenge on Splitcoast. I've been busy working on my Christmas cards and gifts so it was time to play! I had this image from Whipper Snapper, A Home for Robbie colored and on my desk for a couple of weeks and it fit perfectly for casing this card from Studbo who is this weeks lucky lady!! I kept the layout but added 2 rhinestones on the top and bottom instead of 2, added piercing, omitted the ribbon and changed the theme.

Hi everyone!! We have been lucky here and had a last few days of really nice weather so it is hard for me to believe that snow and cold will be coming any time now! This year has really flown!! Anyway, my card is for Anita's Let it Snow VSN challenge on Splitcoast, we were to make our own snow (by using Flower Soft, flocking, etc. I used the snowflakes from my Frosty Flakes set, stamping them in Versamark and pouring Judi-Kins Sticky Stuff and then pouring Sugar Sparkly Fluff over, it stuck really well and O so sparkly!! :) I used the sentiment from Winter Wishes, I thought it was perfect!

I don't have much for scraps, I used to keep every little piece but it got too out of hand for me and I found I wasn't using them, I would cut into a new piece, so know I just keep the bigger pieces. I believe this is from Basic Grey, I try to keep them together but sometimes it doesn't happen ;) The sentiment is from Christmas in the Country set. This would be an easy card to mass produce if you are into that kind of thing!

Hi everyone!! This weeks Speedy challenge is to use one of this past weeks 12 days of Christmas projects, I chose the Bind It All, although I no longer have one, I have a Cinch now!! I made a little notebook, with as busy as the season gets it is so nice to have something to write down your to do list, groceries, gifts, etc. I really like this image from the Holly Greetings set, and it fit perfectly by surprise, love when that happens!! I cut down some chip board and paper for the inside, I punched the holes using my Cinch and decorated the front. The sentiment I thought was also perfect, it puts a smile on my face and sometimes that is difficult with the hustle and bustle of the season!

Hope You Can Cling To Part I

Hi everyone!! Were you able to enjoy World Card Making Day yesterday? I sure did!! I managed to make 6 cards an altered project!! I'm hoping to get more done today as well!! Splitcoast is having their second annual Hope You Can Cling To card drive which started yesterday!!! I was so honored when my good friend Lee asked me to be a sample maker, thanks girlfriend!!! She has a really fun inspiration piece for us today!! My inspiration came from the colors and of course the lace! I colored my Zinnias image from Flourishes using my Copics, I'm still not too sure I like the color combo yet but it goes with the photo!!!

My goal is to get all of the challenges done this month, however I am going back to work tomorrow (so excited!!), I consider myself extremely lucky, it was the first job I applied for along with where I wanted to work! I don't want to set myself up for disappointment if I don't get them all completed but this means so much to me I am going to give it my best shot.

Hi everyone!! Today's card is for this weeks Make it Monday challenge, thick chipboard accents. Fall is in full swing here so I wanted to use my Leaf Prints Set! I cut my leaves out using PTI's coasters, they worked perfectly!! I wanted the look of a leaf just before it falls off the tree, in multiple colors so I started out with my Tim Holtz Peeled Paint distress ink, I then randomly tapped on Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold and Rusty Hinge. I was so pleased with how it came out!!

Hi everyone!! I was able to participate in this months PTI blog hop!! We had this pretty inspiration photo!! The first thing I thought of was scoring lines and went with the blue and yellow, they stuck out at me the most.

I used my Iconic Images set, love this set, especially the vase and flowers!! I embossed the vase with whie and blue embossing powder, I really like how it looks though this time the powders didn't mix up as well and I did mix them quite a bit!! I scored the lines after attaching the image, hoping it would be centered better that way!

Hi everyone!! Welcome to another day of Our Craft Lounge Sneak Peeks!! Today I have a card for you from the new Merry & Bright set! I love Christmas trees and this set is so much fun!! Most years I mass produce my cards that I send out to my family and friends, yes it can get tedious and sometimes boring, but I do that so I don't have to figure out which card to send to who! Ha!! This set is going to make it so easy and quick to mass produce!! I colored the image with my Copics and applied Sparkly Fluff with my glue pen! It doesn't take long to dry so assembly was quick!!

Hi everyone!! I'm back today with another card using some uber gorgeous May Arts ribbon. When I saw this ribbon, I knew I had to make a card with it, such a pretty color and the crochet!! :) I took out my Joy in the Little Things set, I just love all the mushrooms, they are so cute and fun to color!! Of course I wanted to use the green and I thought paired with brown it would make for a "warm and fuzzy" feel kind of card which is what you want when you are welcoming a new neighbor right?! I dsitressed the edges and ran ink around.

Hi everyone!! This is a really fun week for us OCL girls, May Arts was very generous to us and sent us lots of fun, gorgeous ribbon and twine to play with!!! A very special thanks to the folks at May Arts, I've had a blast playing!! :) As I was digging through my bag of goodies and I ran into this Twisted Burlap I thought it would be so much fun to use on a masculine card!! I used this cute image from my Coastal Wishes set, then I thought it would be fun to tie some kind of knot to hopefully bring out the rope in the image!! So I did a google search and found a fun knot that was easy to make and made three to go along side! LOVE when ideas come to me like that!!

Hi and welcome everyone to the Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past Blog Hop!!! We had a super fun sketch to work with and the theme for this hop is "Collectors Anonymous". I'm sure you are like me and have a ton of brads in your stash! For some reason I don't seem to grab for them when creating and I really need to change that!! I had a lot of fun with this challenge!! I knew I wanted to use my cute little Kitschy Kitchen set (LOVE this little set :) ). Given the theme next I went through my brads and chose these pretty sparkly brads!! I wanted to try to give the image and old fashioned feel so while deciding on colors I ran accross this dp and thought it was perfect!! I've also had these little doilies for quote some time. I fell in love with them when I first saw them but have struggled on what to do with them, so glad I could incorporate one in my card!!

Hi everyone!! My card is for this weeks CPS sketch! I was stumped at first but I started going through my stamps and when I got to this set I knew I had to use this image! I originally wanted to use a smaller image like Tami posted in the sketch but that will have to be for another time, this sketch is so fun!! I used my markers on the image and then spritzed with water, while the paper was still in the die I sponged Antique Linen around and ran the pad around the ivory layer as well.

Hi everyone!! I am SO excited!! I was asked to be CPS's Featured Facebook fan!!! If you've been with me for a while you may remember I was honored with this once before! I'm over the moon! *giggle*

This card was made for my son. I am so happy for him, he bought a brand new townhouse and will be moving this weekend. It is bittersweet, because I am so happy and excited for him but I will miss him terribly. I will be away this weekend so I won't be able to help and it will be strange coming home with an empty room. Hubs and our youngest will be helping him though. It is a good thing I won't be here, I'm sure I would be a blubbery mess!!

Hi everyone!! I've got another Dare to get Dirty challenge card to share with you!! For this challenge I decided to use my Papertrey Daydreamer set. I just love all the beautiful flowers and sentiments in this set. I also really like to stamp images off once and stamp the sentiment over which is what I did with this card. After adding the ribbon the card still seemed blah to me. I had these My Favorite Things Adornments sitting on my desk and I thought the blue color went well with the flower and ribbon color so I made a bit of a frame out if it. I am liking how it came out and would like to do this again!!

Hi everyone!! Graduation parties are still going on and my best friend was invited to a party and asked me to make a card for her. This was a little tough for me, the school colors are red and white, the recipient was a girl who is not a girly girl so I didn't want to add glitter or anything similar and I needed to add another color, just red and white wasn't working. I used my Papertrey For the Graduate set which is perfect for grad cards! And lucky for me I was able to stamp the image inside the die cut without any problems, yea me! :)

Hi everyone!! I wish we could be sitting out in the lawn chairs here but it is HOT!! So instead I decided to make this card! Do you remember the chairs like these? As they got older they would be kind of scratchy to sit in? Ha, fun memories! While writing this, instead of making the chair look brand new I should have made it look old! I chose the colors based on the dp, pulling out some of the less noticeable colors.

Hi everyone!! This weeks Speedy the Cat's Friends challenge is to make a patriotic card! I used my American Made set, it is so beautiful!! I embossed the image and sentiment using gold detail embossing powder, seemed perfect to me!! I dug through my stash and found these Queen and Co patriotic brads. I've had them forever and forgot about them!! I finished the card off with this beautiful blue ribbon from Marks Finest Papers and added a red button!!

Hi eveeryone!! This weeks Speedy the Cat's Friends challenge is to make it sparkle!! When I sat down to make this card this shell from Sand, Surf, Relax was calling to me!! It is such a pretty shell so I colored it up!! Reminds me of when I was a little girl and we went to Florida to visit my grandparents for 2 weeks! I scored some lines above and below the ribbon and added crystals "randomly" in each of the corners.

Gina K CSS Sentiment Hop!!

Hi everyone and welcome to our Gina K CSS hop!! If you've arrived from Melissa's blog you are on the right track, if not, be sure to stop by Stamp TV to start at the beginning, you don't want to miss a thing!!

This hop we are getting wordy!! Gina has some fantastic sentiment stamp sets along with sets with such beautiful sentiments and I picked one of my very favorites!! I have always loved Elegant Flowers, I use this set a LOT!!! I used my favorite sentiment in the set and went with a simple ivory on ivory design. I not so carefully went around all the panels with my distress ink pads and raised the second and sentiment panel with foam tape and pierced the corners and about the middle of the outside of the flower panel.

Hi everyone!! Cat's Mix it Up Monday challenge on Stamp TV is "Wear your White" and she wants to see our white embellishments! I used today's sketch challenge on Splitcoast, love this one!! I am so in love with my Vogue Vases set, so I had a ton of fun making this card!! The branches are heat embossed and I added white Liquid Applique to the buds as one of my white embellishements. The top layer looked a little blah so I added white buttons and that seemed to fit perfectly!
