I did it!!!

This was a toughie, but I did it!!! This color combo Kristina came up with was so hard for me!! The colors are beautiful but quite a challenge. I was so determined, I have been thinking about it for 2 days and I started 3 cards, the 4th was about the best I could do! It is one of those cards that you are not sure about at all, but somewhat pleased and with Taylor's challenge today, that helped out considerably!! I also had it stuck in my head to use my new Life set from Papertrey. This is such a beautiful set!!! Deciding on what images to use was another story, lol!!! So....I started with a Papertrey White Select base, I cut a piece of Riding Hood Red, Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink. I scored the pink layer to add some texture and interest. I inked my stamp with Versamark and poured Holographic embossing powder and heat set, punching the bottom portion with my Martha Stewart punch. The Bashful Blue layer was added to a layer of Papertrey's True Black and I wrapped SU! pink grossgrain ribbon around the 2 layers and tied into a bow. I then stamped the sentiments in Versamark and Regal Rose ink, poured Holographic embossing powder and heat setting. The layer along with the black layer were cut out using my scallop oval Nestabilites. That layer seemed to be missing something so I paper pierced under the Life. Not exactly what I had in mind but it will have to do!!! LOL!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
