thinking of you

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for a couple of challenges.  For this weeks Simon Says Monday Challenge, winged things and for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  I loved this sketch, so quick and easy for this card but lots of room for a variety of ways to go!  I received an order from Simon Says not long ago and inside was this gorgeous Willoughby Butterfly die, it is bigger than I thought it would be but I love it!!  So delicate and pretty!  And perfect in white I thought :)
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

CAS(E) 72

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  Squeezing this one in at the last minute!  I had this idea come to me right away but it didn't work out to get the card made until yesterday!  I used my Impression Obsession Conversation Hearts stamp and Conversation Heart Block die.  Even though when you see this you may think of Valentines, I think this would be perfect to send to the troops!  I think I will make up a few more to send in my box!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for a few challenges.  First is for this weeks Paper Smooches Sparks challenge, a great inspiration piece that I was drawn to the pretty spring colors!!  Second my card is for this weeks CASology challenge, the cue card this week is Note.  I immediately thought of my Paper Smooches Just a Note set.  The pencil is what sold my on it and I've been itching to use it!  Perfect for the challenge!  And finally purely by coincidence my card fits into the Dirty Dozen Word challenge.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Isn't this little girl just precious? Let me introduce you....
Lauryn was diagnosed with Leukemia on March 27, 2014. She is currently
hospitalized in the DC area undergoing chemotherapy to fight this
terrible disease.  Lauryn is Linda Payne's granddaughter...many of you in the stamping community probably already know sweet Linda!

As news of Lauryn's illness spread via social media, many of you have
asked if there is anything you can do to help, so we have come up with a
plan. We decided to have a Card Drive and would like to invite YOU to help by sending "happy mail" to Lauryn and her family.

Please create cards to share your love and encouragement for Lauryn and her
family. Lauryn's parents are Josh and Elizabeth and she has two older
siblings: Lily and Logan. We thank the Lord for this dear family and
need to pray for them as they are seeking to glorify the Lord throughout
this trial.

Cards can be mailed to:

Children's National
Hematology/Oncology RM 437
Lauryn Newsome
111 Michigan Ave NW
Washington DC 20010

You can find updates on Lauryn via a Facebook page that has been set up by some family. It is Fight on Little Lauryn
They have shared how encouraging it is receive a simple "like" on a
Facebook status or words of love and encouragement that is posted.

For my card for Lauryn I used this adorable kitty from my Paper Smooches Party Posse set.  I went with a pink and gray color combo coloring they eye lids pink, adding glitter and glossy accents to the kitties eyes and white pearls to her necklace.  I hope she likes it!  :)

is the fabulous group of bloggers who have joined us in promoting this
Card Drive. We would love for you to hop with us as numerous bloggers
have blog candy and all you need to do is leave a comment...

I Love You

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoast.  This week the featured stamper is stampwithsandy and she has a fun gallery to browse!  I chose to CASE this card of Sandy's, using twine instead of ribbon, changed the sentiment, made mine white on white and popped the top panel up.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!
