Sweet Sketch

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch.  As soon as I saw the sketch I immediately thought of my die from Taylored Expressions, Seasonal Trees.  I thought it would be so pretty with the sky watercolored behind it.  I used Faded Jeans and Broken China distress inks, though I think I mixed them too much.  On the snowy hills I used holographic embossing powder.  Instead of the flag at the bottom I used sequins to kind of match the snow but you can't tell in the photo.

You Make My Tail Wag

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch.  Love this sketch, so much fun!!   I used the cute puppy image and I think my all time favorite sentiment with the set from the same name You Make My Tail Wag.  Doesn't it make you giggle!  I wanted to use my Strawberry Burst Sequins so I colored the puppy's nose the same color!  :)

Baby

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge.  It was the perfect sketch for the card I needed to make!  I knew I wanted to make a shaker card but wasn't coming up with anything until the challenge!  I used my Onesie die from Taylored Expressions, along with my Baby Confetti in the shaker, so much fun!  I also added Clear Seed Beads, Aqua Marine Sequins and White Microbeads.  It's a pretty snug shaker but I accidentally put the back paper on permanently and didn't want to start over again!

Heart Beat

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge.  A great sketch with lots of possibilities no matter your style!  For this card I cracked open my new Tickled Pink and Cranberry Cocktail cardstock and ink!  I stamped the 2 colors on the equalizer bars from my Keep on Rockin' set and stamped the sentiment twice.  The bow was tied with Pink Lemonade ribbon, I added Stardust Stickles to the heart on the sentiment and added a few sequins to finish the card.

It's your day

Hi everyone!  Today's card is for the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge.  I used a scrap piece of dp along the left side of the card and the stamp was heat embossed with blue embossing powder.  I matted it on a piece of Nightshift Blue cardstock, it matches much better irl but it looks black in the photo.  I randomly added the sprinkles and rounded the corners on the right.

Water Lily

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch.  Fun, simple sketch with so many possiblities.  I didn't stray away from the sketch but had a couple of ideas as I was making this card!  I haven't played with my LOTV stamps in a while and thought this Water Lily image was perfect for the sketch.  So cute and so much fun to color!

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks Featured Stamper on SCS and the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge.  This weeks lucky lady is cjzim, congratulations Claudia!!  Before I saw the sketch challenge I had picked out this card to CASE and after seeing the sketch thought it would be a perfect little twist!  I changed the colors, sketch added a couple of layers, which were cut with my Blueprints 5 die-namics, the brushtrokes are from my Abstract Art set and the sentiment is from my Peaceful Wildflowers set and finally added some bling.

Hi everyone!!  I started my new job last Monday and even though I have a few cards made to share with you I didn't get the blog posts done before starting and my brain was mush last week!  I'm sure this week will be much the same!  LOL!!  Today's card is for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge, I really liked the sketch and knew I wanted to use my cute Tucker the Turkey stamp from Whipper Snapper!  Isn't he the cutest turkey you've ever seen?!
