Hope Soars

Hi everyone!  Today my card is for Jen's Hope Soars Hope You Can Cling To challenge on Splitcoast.  I used an old image that I love and thought was perfect for the challenge.  It is from Cornish Heritage Farms Flying Bald Eagle.  I colored the image, cut it out, glued the body down but used pop dots on the wings.  I added enamel dots to 2 corners and rounded the other 2 to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Way Back Wednesday 1

Hi everyone!!  I've been thinking of  starting something for a while to get me motivated to use stamps that I cannot part with but don't use much.  And Way Back Wednesday was born!!  :)  Hubs birthday was a couple of weeks ago, I was fumbling through my stamps, completely forgetting I had this set, I know, shame on me!!  I purchased this set last summer before Cornish Heritage Farm closed their doors.  I had been eyeing this set for quite some time and didn't want to take the chance I wouldn't be able to find it.  He really is more of a Chevelle guy but I haven't been successful in finding any of those stamps, and he appreciates muscle cars in general.  He was surprised to see this image, I hadn't shown the set to him because I wanted to surprise him sometime!  Ha!!
The car was colored with my Copics and the SS stripes were colored with my Sakura Clear Gelly Roll Pen.  You can't see it very well in the photo but I made the background with the GM stamp and embossed with clear embossing powder.
I would like to invite you to play along with me, and if you do, please be sure to send me a link so I can stop by your blog or online gallery!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Live your Bliss

Hi everyone!!  Today's card is for Susan's One Layer Wednesday challenge!  For this challenge we are to make a square card (mine is 4.25 x 4.25) and use a outline stamp.  We could color it if we chose but I didn't, keeping with the simplicity theme!  Not too long ago I received this gorgeous Flying Bald Eagle stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms.  I've been eyeing a few of their stamps for a while and finally placed an order after I read they were closing.  I hope they have a buyer, they have fantastic stamps!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
