For my card I used the hope die, cut out in a dark gray color, and applied it to a textured piece of cardstock, I added a scalloped piece of cardstock below and applied those 2 layers on a piece of dp.  I added a few random small droplets to finish off the card.

For my card, I had to use the sequins to make a shaker card!  I love shaker cards!!  I used my Ruffled Ribbon die and my sentiment is from my Hope Ribbon stamp set.  I had to add a few random sequins on the outside too, they are so pretty!!

For my card, I used my Ruffled Ribbon die cut out with Yupo and I pounced alcohol inks.  I just love how this looks in person, it is so pretty!  The sentiment is from Calling All Sistahs, love this too!!  I added a few enamel dots to finish off the card.

For my card I stamped the "kick cancer's butt" sentiment from my Calling All Sistahs set continually and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I stamped the "you've got this" on a little tag and cut out the Girl from my "Sistahs Fri Dies" 3 times for dimension.  I have some messy thread behind the the tag and added a few sequins to finish off the card.

Calling All Sistahs!!

Hi everyone!  It's that time of month to do your self breast exam and hop along with us!  You should have arrived from the very talented Shona's blog!  If not, you may want to head over to the CAS-ual Friday's blog to start at the beginning!  There will be a $15 Gift Certificate given to 3 people that comment along the hop so be sure to leave comments as you hop along! 
This month I used the Hope Ribbon stamp set which I stamped 2 different pinks lightly on the stamp, then cut out using my Ruffled Ribbon Fri-Die.  I cut it out an additional 3 times using the pink colors for dimension and interest.  I did the same thing using my Hope Fri-Die but left the lighter pink on the top.  I'm still not sure if I like it, but the brighter pink seemed too much and white would have blended in too much I think.  50% of profits from the sale of products in the "Calling All Sistahs" stamps and dies are donated to breast cancer research and awareness.

Hi everyone!  I have a card today for a couple of challenges, first, this weeks CAS-ual Friday's challenge, Birthday Boy.  My card is also for this weeks The Paper Players challenge and this week is great sketch!  The sketch worked perfectly for the images I wanted to use from Clean Lines:  For the Guys.  The image is heat embossed, I added a tiny little gem in the middle and a gem heart off to the right side.  I wasn't thinking and used my impression plate and then heat embossed the sentiment.  Live and learn!

Get 'em Squeezed

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the first Calling All Sistahs blog hop!!  You should have arrived from Lydia's blog, if not, be sure to start at the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog so you don't miss a thing!  When I saw the information about the hop, I had to sign up right away, this cause is near and dear to my heart and try to be a part of as many events as possible.  I've had family and friends that have been affected by breast cancer.

For my card I had this rustic wood looking backround sitting on my on my desk and thought it would be perfect for my card!  Initially I was going to make a fancy frilly card but decided to go with this background instead.  I used Weathered Wood, Spun Sugar, Antique Linen and Picked Raspberry Disterss Inks for the background.  I used the Calling All Sistahs stamp set (50% of the profits from the sales of the Calling All Sistahs line goes to National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc for research and medical help.), heat embossing in white on the background.  The dot for the "i" in girl I added a small squeeze of White Enamel Accents and used my Wink of Stella clear pen on "Girl", you can't see it in the photo but is pretty irl!  I used pink satin ribbon and an enamel dot in the center.

Summery

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for the CAS-ual Friday's challenge.  Summery is the theme and we are to use white, tan and one bright color.  I chose green because I wanted to play with my new kit I just received from Simon Says Stamp.  I was so excited for this kit when I saw the preview, it is so much fun and happy!

Birthday Worm

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for a couple of challenges.  First this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge and for the CAS-ual Friday's birthday challenge.  This is a great sketch for the small images in your arsenal.  I have't used this uber cute Party Worm image from Whipper Snapper, he makes me giggle :)  I added black enamel accents and glossy accents on his eyes and cute little flower sequins from Pretty Pink Posh on the dirt mound.

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for the CAS challenge on SCS, to use stars, the Operation Write Home Midweek Throwdown challenge, to use brown and for the CAS-ual Friday's challenge, Three Thirds.  For my 3's I used 3 shades of brown and 3 stars.  I was going to try to use another chevron strip but it didn't look right, I like the sentiment placed a little lower.

Hi everyone!!  Today I have a card for a very special little boy that just turned 1 and for the CAS-ual Friday's challenge to use ovals in our card.  I kind of have a car theme going without the car, ha!  I thought about coloring one, I have some cute stamps that would have fit the bill but in the end I'm glad I went with this!  :)

Shades of Gray

Hi everyone!!  I was able to combine a few challenges for today's card, fun when that happens!  :)  For today's Featured Stamper on SCS, congrats Jenn!!  I chose to CASE this card, changing the theme, colors, I used a paper panel instead of Washi tape and used a star instead of a heart.  My card is also for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch, which is SO similar to Jenn's card!!  And lastly my card is for this weeks CAS-ual Friday's challenge, Shades of Gray.  I'm seeing a lot of gray and yellow around and love the color combo!!  To make my ombre panel I used W7, W5, W3 & W1 Copics, starting with the darkest working my way down the the lightest blending as I went.  I did the same thing with the yellow star using Y6, Y4, Y2 and Y00.  The Hey There is from Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler set embossed with Zing Charcoal Embossing Powder.

8 Ribbon

Hi everyone!!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS-ology challenge and the CAS-ual Friday's challenge (which runs until December 24th!).   This weeks cue card for the CAS-ology challenge is ribbon and the challenge for CAS-ual Friday's is 8 so these 2 challenges went so well together!!  I started out by attaching my Candy Stripers randomly, laid down a strip of 1/4" Scor-Tape to attach my silk ribbon and tied bows for each.  My sentiment is from Gina K's Sentimental Holiday set heat embossed with silver embossing powder.  Finally, I popped up the layer with pop dots.

sequins & chevrons

Hi everyone!!  I have a card for this weeks CAS-ual Fridays challenge, sequins & chevrons.  Fun challenge!!  I immediately thought of this type of card but the hard part was figuring out which sentiment to use!!  I thought this chunky sentiment from Papertrey's Mod Squad set would be fun!!  I embossed it with Zing Charcoal embossing powder, rounded the corners and added iridescent sequins.  I love those, depending on which way you are looking at the card they can change colors!!  :)

Fall Colors

Hi everyone!!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge and also for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge to use fall colors and a leaf.  In my little corner of the world fall is definitely in the air so the leaf and color challenge was perfect!!  For the small panel I used Tim Holtz Fired Brick, Rusty Hinge, Spiced Marmalade and Vintage Photo Distress Inks and stamped off once.  I used my PTI Leaf Prints and die and randomly stamped the larger leaf with all the colors but Vintage Photo which the veins were stamped with.  I had this little sliver of paper which worked perfectly for the sentiment from Autumn Abundance set.  The end was cut using my pinking shears.

Hi everyone!!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge and CAS-ual Friday's challenge!  I thought the sketch was a lot of fun, and thought of using some of my wide ribbon cutting out the octagons with my nesties.  The CAS-ual Frida's challenge is to use number/s.  I thought of 2 or 4 and the word you for the sentiment.  Finding a "You" was a little tricky, but I found it in my MFT "Lovey Dovey Sentiments" set.

Hi everyone!!  Today I have a card for 2 challenges, this weeks CAS-ual Friday's polka dot challenge and today's Featured Stamper challenge on SCS.  This weeks lucky lady is akeptlife, congrats to you Jeanne, you have a great gallery!!  I chose to CASE this card, changing the colors, theme, turned the sketch and used polka dots stamp rather than making my own background.  I used my Perfect Pearls for the polka dots and heat embossed the sentiment.

Feathered Birthday

Hi everyone!!  I have a card today for this weeks CAS-ual Fridays Top 10 Tic Tac Toe challenge (I went with Punches/Dies, Bling and Birthday.  My card is also for today's CAS challenge on SCS.  We are to CASE a card from Bonnie's gallery and I chose this card to case, changing the set, I used a feather rather than a strawberry, added bling, rounded the corners on the top layer and changed the embossing folder.

Hi everyone!!  I seem to be on a birthday card kick lately!!  That's good though, you can never have too many birthday cards right?!  Today my card is for the featured stamper on SCS, stamp300, congratulations Connie!!  I chose to CASE this card of Connie's, changing the theme, colors, didn't use dp, sentiment placement and the layout.  I intended to use the same time type of layout but I cut my birthday layer down too much!  My card is also for this weeks CAS-ual Friday's challenge, color blocking.  I pulled out one of my Kaleidoscope ink pads Berry Blaze that I haven't used in forever!!  But this was the first thing I thought of when I saw the challenge!  I started out by stamping my sentiment from my Birthday Greetings set and heat embossing with clear embossing powder and brayering after it was cool.  Quick easy card!

Hi everyone!!  Today's card is for a couple of challenges, this weeks CAS-ual Friday's challenge to use black,white and one other color, I used blue.  My card is also for the Bring the Bling challenge on Splitcoast hosted by Stamping Bella. I used black embossing powder for the birds and Zing Blue Denim for the boat and water.  The temperatures have dropped again here in Minnesota, I am definitely ready for soaking up the sun!!
