FS527

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoast.  This week the lucky lady is bubblestx4, congratulations Linda!  I chose to CASE this card, changing the colors and the theme.  I also just stamped one image and added some Nuvo.  I was able to play with my new Clarity Stencil Brushes for this card.  They are so fun to play with!  I used Carved Pumpkin, Gathered Twigs, Mustard Seed and Wild Honey distressed inks, as I was going for a masculine look.  After I brushed the ink, I spritzed with water and spread it a little for a little more of a blend with the brush.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Miss You

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for the featured stamper challenge on SCS, today's lucky lady is girlgeek101, congratulations Audrie, you have a great gallery!  I chose to CASE this card, I loved Audrie's background and the images.  I don't have the same stamp set as hers but very similar.  I sponged my background using Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Fired Brick distress inks and then spritzed water, I really like how the colors blend and some splatters to boot!  The sentiment and image were heat embossed with black embossing powder.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Sending Flowers

Hi everyone!!  Today's card is for Bev's Sending Flowers Hope You Can Cling To challenge on Splicoast.  I thought about coloring some flowers but then I got an idea to do some sponging so I switched to that and I'm real happy with how this card turned out!!  I embossed this pretty image from Inkadinkado's Meadow set with Zing Chestnut Embossing Powder and sponged with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar Distress Ink and with Memento's Rose Bud and Rhubarb Stalk.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Harvest

Hi everyone!!  This is my second post for today, if you would like to see my HYCCT card for today, scroll down!  :)  This card is for a couple of fun challenges, it is Week 64 over at CAS-ology and this weeks cue card is harvest.  My card is also for this weeks One Layer Wednesday challenge and Susan is challenging us to use our pins!!  Funny thing about that is I had just pinned a card of Susan's (here) so I decided I would use that card!!  I used this gorgeous image from my Inkadinkado set Meadow because it screamed harvest to me but I did have to turn the sketch because it was too long.  I used my Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick and Wild Honey Distress inks to sponge the area that I had masked off.  I embossed the image and sentiment (from Paper Smooches) with Zing Chestnut Embossing Powder and added a few enamel dots.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Precious & Few

There's a new challenge blog in town!! Crazy 4 Challenges had their first challenge on Saturday, a sketch challenge!! As soon as I saw this sketch I immediately thought of this Expressions set from Inkadinkado. I cut the cardstock 4 1/4 x 9 and scored at 4 1/2. After the base was prepared, the sentiment panel was stamped and cut out, I measured it to 5 1/2. I wanted a little bling so I added Taylor's Tiny Multi-Color Twinkles, you can't tell from the photo but the twinkles match the paper!!
Simple, fast and fun card to put together!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Precious Friends

My friend Janice made a card with this set from Inkadinkado and I fell in love with the sentiment!!! When I was at JoAnn's last week I saw the set and had to have it!!! I thought it would be perfect for this weeks Mojo challenge!!! So last night I got to work!!! I started out by stamping the image and cutting it out using my circle Nestabilites, I cut a layer of Papertrey's New Leaf with my scallop circle Nestabilites and attached to a layer of Papertrey Sweet Blush cut out using my Labels Three Nestabilites. I really like the look!!!! My button is a Sweet Blush Button from Papertrey with Sweet Blush Satin ribbon tied in the middle. I LOVE how so many colors from Basic Grey and Papertrey match so well!!!
