Puppy Love

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks MFT card challenge and today's Way to Use It challenge on SCS, Puppy Love.  I thought the sketch was a great one and perfect for this adorable puppy from MFT's You Make My Tail Wag set.  I watercolored the puppy with Gathered Twigs and Walnut Stain for the body and Hickory Smoke for the nose.  I watercolored the dish with Worn Lipstick Oxide ink.  The background and flag panel were stamped with Worn Lipstick Oxide ink and then sprinkled and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Thank You

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card that I combined for both of the MFT challenges.  The color challenge was a lot of fun, I didn't have the chili powder so I used paver red, the closest I had.  Also, I loved the sketch for this week, so fun!!  I used my "I Kneed You", it was a lot of fun to pull out some of the smaller stamps and make a pattern paper with them!  The thank you is from my Soda Pop set, I thought it was perfect!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Stunning Shadow Stamping

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for the final Camp Create challenges by MFT,  Stunning Shadow Stamping.  I finished all of them all summer except the bonus challenge.  Maybe I will get time, fingers crossed!  I think this was my favorite challenge of this round.  This isn't a technique I've done before and truth be told, I'm not always good at techniques but this one I was pleased with and really enjoyed!  I used my Build-able Blooms set, another that I haven't used in a long time!  That is the great thing about these challenges, they make me dig deep in my inventory!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Divine Dry Embossing

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for MFT's Camp Create, Divine Dry Embossing.  I had a lot of fun with this one, I haven't done this technique in a while and I haven't used this set, Peaceful Wildflowers,  in a while either!  Not sure why, it is so pretty!  I cut out my masking paper using a circle die and sponged with Tattered Rose Distress Ink.  That is a color I don't know if I have ever used, but I love how it came out here!  I applied many layers and left it overnight to dry.  So pretty!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Awesome Ombre

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for MFT's Camp Create, Awesome Ombre.   I sponged Banana Split, Lemon Chiffon and Daffodil on watercolor paper.  I spritzed water so the colors would blend more, then heat set it.  I cut it out using my Blueprints 26, I thought it would be neat to have the balloon in ombre.  IRL the bottom portion is lighter!  It's not showing up much lighter on my screen.  I made a bow with twine and twisted it a bit.  The sentiment is heat embossed and I added a few enamel dots to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Remarkable Resist

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for a couple of challenges.  First, this weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge and also for MFT's Camp Create Remarkable Resist challenge.  I heat embossed snowflakes from my Snowflake Flurry set with clear embossing powder and used Paver Red Ink, I thought it would be fun to use a little different color.  The left side looked so bare so I added a few sequins.  The sentiment is from my Santa's Elves set.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Monochromatic Magic

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for My Favorite Things Camp Create.  Today we are to make a monochromatic card.  As much as I love white on white, I love black on black and decided to go a different route than I normally do.  I used my Circle Scribble Scribble Flowers stamp set and stamped 2 of the flower sizes and a leaf, heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  The sentiment is from my Adorable Elephants stamp set.  I used Ebony Black Nuvo and made random dots on the card to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Background Bonanza

Hi everyone!  Today I have my final entry into MFT's Camp Create!  It was another fun week with lots of great video's and challenges!  For my card I used my Recipe for Happiness stamps set and picked out the little images in the set.  I colored over all the images with my clear Wink of Stella, I wasn't able to capture it in the photo but it is fun and sparkly!  I tend to not use the small images very much, I really need to change that because I love how this card turned out!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Magnificent Masking

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for day 4 of MFT's Camp Create!  I made a mask using my MFT Stripes Cover-Up.  I inked up every other stripe using Berrylicious and Tropical Teal inks.  I used my Blueprints 5 to make the flowers.  Something interesting, the ink was dry when I applied Nuvo directly to the paper, when it dried I noticed the dots that were over the ink soaked up some of it.  I was surprised as I wasn't expecting it but I really like the look!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Inlaid Made Easy

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge and for MFT's Wednesday Camp Create.  I went with the super easy for this camp create challenge.  I was going to use the scribble flower as my inlay but I thought it might be too frustrating for me tonight so I inlaid the white section below the flowers.  The flower panel is up on pop dots.  I don't think you can see it in the photo but I used my white Wink of Stella on the white below the flowers for a little sparkle.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Sunny Smiles

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for Tuesday's MFT's Camp Create Coloring on Kraft challenge.  I actually did make this card last night but hubs and I went out for a bit so I didn't get a chance to photo it or put it up here on my blog.  Stephanie really inspired me to dust off my Prismacolor Pencils, I haven't used them for a long time!  It was fun to go back to it, hopefully next time it won't be as long!  I'm off to make a card for today's challenge and hopefully get it up later on!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Fantastic Foiling

Camp Create - Wonderful Watercolor

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for my final MFT Camp Create challenge, Wonderful Watercolor.  I love watercoloring but this is not the kind I normally do.  I almost didn't post this, I'm not all that happy with it and I need lots more practice watercoloring!  But, I thought I would because we all start from somewhere!  Love this elephant set, it is so cute!  It was fun to put together!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Camp Create - Spectacular Shakers

Hi everyone!  Today I have another MFT Camp Create card.  This has been so much fun!  Today's card is for the Spectacular Shakers challenge.  I knew I wanted to use my Rectangle Peek a Boo window but didn't have any ideas beyond that.  As I was going through my shaker supplies, I found these fun snowflakes.  I think I got them as a freebie and I would like to find from where because they are a lot of fun!  I added glitter and seed beads to finish the shaker.   I heat embossed the sentiment from Hand Lettered Holiday in silver embossing powder to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Camp Create - Delightful Die Cutting

Hi everyone!  Today I'm participating in this weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge and today's MFT Camp Creative Delightful Die Cutting challenge.  Almost every single time I see a circle in a sketch I think of my MFT Donuts and Sprinkles stamp set and dies.  I have to stop myself or I wouldn't be making cards with many other sets!  I didn't stop myself this time though, a small donut was perfect for the sketch!  I decided this time to make a cake donut with chocolate frosting, my favorite kind!  I sponged a bit of Antique Linen along the edges of the donut, added glossy accents to the frosting and a few vanilla sprinkles!  I used a couple elements from my Blueprints 21 and added a few enamel dots to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Camp Create - Glitzy Glitter

Hi everyone!  Today I am participating in this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge and a fun event that My Favorite Things is hosting this week, Camp Create!  I had a lot of fun with this card!  After watching the video and knowing I wanted to use my Soda Pop stamp set and dies, I couldn't wait to get home and create!  I used Elizabeth Craft Chocolate glitter, I hope you can see it, I can't seem to get mine as sparkly as I've seen it done.  I added Express-O-Yourself Prills along with gold micro beads.  I thought I would use those to bring out the gold cord and happy birthday stamping on the tag on the bottle.  The sentiment is so fun, I think it is perfect for birthday cards!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Sarah

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for a couple of challenges.  First, today's featured stamper challenge on SCS, this week Sarah J Moerman is the lucky lady!  She has a great gallery and I chose to CASE this card.  I think I was drawn to it because I knew I wanted to play in the MFT sketch challenge for this week and the sketches are very similar!  I changed the colors, theme and made my card into a shaker.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Star Shaker

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks My Favorite Things Card Challenge.  This was really fun!  I knew I wanted to make a birthday card and keep the star like is in the sample but thought it would be fun to turn it into a shaker!  I used fun foam to pop up my panel so I needed thin shaker items so I used these fun beads from the Ton!.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stoping by today!
