So sorry

Hi everyone!!  Welcome to the January Calling All Sisters Blog Hop!  You should have arrived from Shona's blog, if not, be sure to head to the CAS-ual Friday's blog to start at the beginning, you don't want to miss a thing!   This month we are having a special blog hop!  Pretty Pink Posh has made a special sequin blend exclusively at the Cas-ual Friday's store to help us support Breast Cancer Awareness.  Michele will be donating 50% of the profits, just as she does with the other items in the Calling All Sistahs collection, to NBCF.org  Quantities are limited and once they are gone, they're gone.
For my card, I had to use the sequins to make a shaker card!  I love shaker cards!!  I used my Ruffled Ribbon die and my sentiment is from my Hope Ribbon stamp set.  I had to add a few random sequins on the outside too, they are so pretty!!
Don't forget to do your self breast exam and now is a great time to schedule a mammogram if you don't have an appointment for this year!!
Next on the hop is Nora, and below is the list of participants!  Thanks so much for joining us!!

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.   Loved this sketch!  I finally got my hands on this Adorable Elephant set from My Favorite Things.  I didn't get it when it was first released so it seemed to take forever when I finally decided I couldn't live without it!  :)  Just basic coloring and stamping on this card.  The top panel was cut out using my Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Border 3 dies and the elephant is up with pop dots.  The balloon has Glossy Accents and I used a few PPP sequins to finish the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for the CAS challenge on SCS.  This challenge is a word challenge, we are to use things beginning with each of the letters in the word love.  I've been itching to make a shaker card and like how this one turned out!  For my letters I used:  L=lilac, O=oval, V=vanilla yardstick and E-Embossing.  My dp and sentiment are from my new Beautiful Blooms card kit from MFT.  I used Pretty Pink Posh sequins and beads and finally my embossing folder is Braided from Tailored Expressions.

Be Mine

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS challenge on SCS.  This weeks challenge is to make a valentine.  I thought this card would be fun for another entry into the Pretty Pink Posh Valentine challenge:

My Lil' Inker Smooches set was still on my desk.  I got an idea to make a background using some of the sentiments.  I heat embossed with white embossing powder and rotated the sentiments.  I cut out a strip from Stitched Borders 1 and attached it to the back.   I heat embossed the Be Mine and finally added 4 mm droplets in the white area to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

You

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CASology challenge.  The cue card for this week is You.  I had a few different ideas go through my head but when I finally was able to sit down and make this card this design won out.  I lightly spritzed water on my watercolor paper and with a paint brush, brushed Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks.  My inspiration for my colors came from a gal who had an appointment at work, she had a pink and orange neckelace on.  It was beautiful!!  The embossed sentiment is from my Wplus9 Hand Lettered Thanks stamp set and the you is from my Hand Lettered Thanks die.  I cut it out 3 dimes for dimension and added glossy accents.  Finally I added Pretty Pink Posh Droplets to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Wonderful Watercolor

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge, this weeks challenge is Wonderful Watercolor.  You know by now that I am loving all kinds of watercoloring so I had to be sure to participate!!  I was able to use a few new products that I received today that I was so excited to play with!!  I started out stamping my new Tim Holtz Scribble Tree 5 on watercolor paper.  I watercolored Deep Green and Olive Green.  I'm still experimenting with multiple colors and probably added too many layers but I had fun and think it turned out ok.  I added yellow to the star, light gray to the shadow and brown to the tree trunk,  I just love the Scribble O' Christmas Tree sentiment and can see myself using it with almost any tree!!  I cut the image out using my new Pretty Pink Posh Decorative Tags 1, love this fun new die!!  I randomly added sequins from my Spooky Days sequins after cutting the bottom portion with my Stitched Border 2 dies, I'm having lots of fun with those!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Have a Happy...

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks My Favorite Things sketch challenge.  I used one of my very favorite sets that I haven't used in a while, my Eye Charts set!  I wasn't sure what colors I wanted to use but I did know I wanted to use my Prills on the top portion and used those as my inspiration.  I went with the green and pink colors.  The sentiment is stamped in Sour Apple, I cut out the glasses from Geek is Chic and added glossy accents and randomly added Pretty Pink Posh sequins.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Lession #5

Hi everyone!  Today I am participating in My Favorite Things Summer School, Lesson #5, Quiet Space/White Space.  I cannot seem to make a card lately without some type of watercoloring, I am loving getting my fingers messy with ink!!  I sponged Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed & Seedless Preserves, when dry I cut out using my Lots of Love Die-namics and cut the bottom portion using my Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics.  I love the look!  I almost put the two edges together but thought it was fun with a bit of space in between.  I added a few random Strawberry Burst Sequins to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Watercolor Hop!

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for the Pretty Pink Posh watercolor blog hop!

I love making watercolor backgrounds and for this card I was able to use 2 new to me distress ink pads, Mowed Lawn and Seedless Preserves.  I applied the ink pads directly to the paper and sprayed with water to blend.  I dried with my heat gun and sprinkled water.  I then cut out the layer using my Stitched Borders 2 die, the sentiment is from my Simon Says Stamp Friendship Messages, cut out using Stitched Borders 3 Dies and heat embossed with Platinum Embossing Powder.  I added a few sequins and tied a bow to finish the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy Birthday to You

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks The Paper Players challenge.  This week is a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge and those are my all time favorites!  I chose the far right row going down, sequins, flowers and any shade of yellow.  I thought this would be the perfect time to pull out my Circle Scribble Flowers set and have some fun!  I embossed the flowers with clear embossing powder and dusted off my Twinkling H2O's to color the inside of the flowers and leaves.  The top flower layer and black layer were cut out using my Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 2 Dies.  The sentiment is from my MFT Totally Happy stamp set and I added a few sequins to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

#love

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for the Crazy for Challenges to use eyes or vision and for the Sugar Sketch Challenge.  It was the perfect excuse to use my Hashtag Hipster stamp set, I thought of it as soon as I saw the sketch.  I fell in love with this incentive set as soon as I saw it and had a ton of fun making this card!  I used my Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 1 and 2 dies and Charcoal sequins to finish off the card.  The colors match just about perfectly irl but I couldn't get them to in the photo!  Also, my dp is printed like this, it kind of drives me crazy to not be straight across but I thought it went well with this card :)
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CASology challenge, this weeks cue card is News.  Gillian, one of the ladies on the dt had a baby boy (CONGRATS!!) and I thought this uber cute penguin from my new Sugar Pea set Happy Mail.  I thought it was a fun take on the cue card.  Also, my card is for this weeks Addicted to CAS challenge, the code word cute, the penguin fits it perfectly!  Speaking of fitting perfectly, I love how the image fits on the die cut from my new Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duo 3 die, the arch at the top *swoon*.  I will be getting a lot of mileage out of this die!!  :)
