Stamps: GKD Sentimental Holiday
my journey with paper ink and stamps

I used white cardstock for my base card and used my Tea Dye Duo to mute it, I did the same thing with the sweet corn layer but I also distressed along the top and bottom to go along with the fringe in the sweater. The white layer was also muted but prior to that I ran it through with my woodgrain impression plate. I had to add the buttons like in the sweater!! :) I'm not sure if you can see in the picture but I used a tiny bit of yellow in the birds tail to mimic the small amount of yellow in the sweater.
ling them up a bit and adding buttons in the middle. I used New Leaf ribbon to create leaves on the flowers.

Hi everyone! My card for today is for Mercy's sketch challenge and for Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger. I would like to get the Tuesday Trigger's done on the day Cath issues them, but it didn't work out this week! Time is a premium for me right now as I am sure it is for most. I had to play, I loved the inspiration pieces!! I initially thought I would use a stocking stamp but then I thought of this great ornament from my Holiday Hospitality set and decided to go with it instead! How fun to paper piece and use a few different patterns!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
