This or That

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for a couple of challenges.  First, for this week's Stamp TV challenge, Cat is challenging us "This or That", I chose the that which is to use an embossing folder.  Second, for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  I used my Fabulous Flowers set from Gina K Designs to make the top layer dp, the lower layer is from Gina K Designs.  I dusted off an old embossing folder I haven't used in a long time for the bottom layer.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Color Me Krafty

Hi everyone!  Today my card is for a couple of challenges.  First, CAS(E) this Sketch has a great sketch this week that worked perfect for the second challenge I am participating in, this weeks Stamp TV "Color Me Krafty" challenge.  Chris is hosting and wants us to use white pencil on kraft.  I pulled out my Prismacolor Pencils and colored in the pretty tulips from my Fabulous Flowers set by Gina K Designs!  I added a few of the smaller images to fill in some of the areas and finally stamped the happy birthday from my More Massive Messages set by Gina K Designs.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

thank you

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch and The Paper Players challenges.  This week on The Paper Players, it is a color challenge, black, white and 1 other color.  I chose yellow!  I made a circle template then spread embossing paste with my stars and dots stencil.  I poured yellow embossing powder and heat set.  My sentiment is heat embossed and I added a couple of clear dots to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Thank you

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  I had been asked to make a thank you to give a donor for our residents where I work.  Initially I was stumped on what to do until I saw this sketch, it really is a great one and had a lot of fun making this card!  I stared out by cutting the thank you 3 times in 3 different colors.  The beer mug is from an old Taylored Expressions Chillax set and was colored with Copics, I added liquid appliqué and glossy accents, and up on pop dots.  The papers and colors in the mug match better irl!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

thanks

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  They've added a fun little twist this week, CAS(E) for a Cause.  If you choose to, you can make and send cards to Feline Creative.  I'm hoping to get a few made over the next few days and send to them!  They are looking mainly for general and thank you themed pet cards.  I had a lot of fun making this card mixing and matching products!  The heart die with the paw is from My Favorite Things, the fan die is from Simon Says Stamp, the thanks die is from Little B and the so very much is from Wplus9.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

thanks so very much

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch and today's Featured Stamper on Splitcoast.  I chose to CASE this card, her layout was similar to the sketch challenge.  I kept the theme but only used 1 color added a layer, Nuvo's and used alcohol inks on Yupo!!  Also, I didn't use glitter on my die cut.  I'm really loving playing with alcohol reinkers and blending solution on Yupo, so much fun and you never get the same result twice!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Birthday Feathers

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for a few challenges.  First, for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge, this weeks Simon Says Tic Tac Toe challenge (LOVE these kind of challenges!).  I used the top row going across and finally for this weeks Mix it Up Monday challenge on Stamp TV to make a birthday card.  I used my Fine Feathers stamp set, heat embossing in gold and cutting out.  The sentiment was stamped with Gina K Tomato Soup ink and I added a few splatters.  Finally I added a few random gold sequins to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Pop of Asparagus

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge!  I'm also submitting this card in Cathy's Black and White with a Pop of Color challenge on Stamp TV for this week.  I was so excited to make today's card, my GKD order arrived a little earlier today and I couldn't wait to play with my new Fine Feathers set!  I've had my eye on this set for some time!  I heat embossed with Gina's black embossing powder, love it!

Week 200: CAS

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for a few challenges.  First, this weeks CASology challenge, the cue card is CAS.  Next, this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  I knew right away what I wanted to do, I saw sequins scattered!  I just didn't have time to make a card, until tonight!  Which brings me to the final challenge I am entering my card in, Cathy's Stamp TV challenge, Black and White with a Pop of color.  I used yellow as my pop of color and the little sequins are cute little flowers that I put a little black gem in the middle!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

You Start My Engine

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for a couple of challenges, this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge and today's Inspiration challenge on SCS.  I chose this card as my inspiration, when I saw the challenge I initially thought of making a card with this type of layout, then as I'm cruising the net and went the the CAS(E) this Sketch site, it was very similar!  First time I recall that happening!!  I also knew my brand new Lil Inkers Clean Lines for the Guys stamp set and dies would be perfect!!  I spritzed the watercolor paper and sprinkled Black Brushos in the corner.  I was impatient and wanted to get things together so I used my heat gun to dry the paper.  Since it is a one layer card, I probably shouldn't have done that, it's a bit warped!  It looks better here than it initially did!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

So Very Thankful

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  This one had me stumped, I think it was the wonky lines.  I'm normally straight and centered so I was thrown off!   But, I had an idea that just came to me and I had a really good time with it!  I also wanted to participate in a former color challenge on Stamp TV, orange, blue and green.  These are not normally colors I would use but I think they came together nicely!  I colored the flower and leaves with my Brusho's, I sprinkled the powder on my craft mat, sprayed a little water and painted on with my brush.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Our Thoughts

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  I knew what I wanted to do as soon as I saw the sketch.  That doesn't happen very often lately!  It was a quick card to make too!!  I started out with my Die-Namics Stitched Strip, then  I used my Hero Arts Prayers stamp set and dies to cut out the prayer.  I cut it out 3 times for dimension, stamped the other two greetings using Versafine Onyx black in.  I added a few random gems and the top panel is up on pop dots.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

We can see clearly

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge and this weeks Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge, the challenge for this weeks is "We Can See Clearly".  I took that 2 ways in my card, first I colored the balloons using my Ultra Marine Brushes and when that was dry I applied Glossy Accents.  While it was drying, I masked off a portion of the watercolor paper, stamped the sentiment and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, spritzed with water and sprinkled Turquoise Brushes.  After the glossy accents dried (not quite as dry as I thought it was!) I added the "string" using silver metallic thread and added a few sequins.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.   Loved this sketch!  I finally got my hands on this Adorable Elephant set from My Favorite Things.  I didn't get it when it was first released so it seemed to take forever when I finally decided I couldn't live without it!  :)  Just basic coloring and stamping on this card.  The top panel was cut out using my Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Border 3 dies and the elephant is up with pop dots.  The balloon has Glossy Accents and I used a few PPP sequins to finish the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

happy anniversary

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  Fun challenge!  I thought it would be fun to make an anniversary card but wanted to do something different as far as colors.  I cut out the happy from my Winnie & Water The Big The Bold and The Happy die 3 times for dimension stamped the anniversary and added a few hearts from Pretty Pink Posh.  The panel is up with fun foam.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

celebrate

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  I was stumped for a bit, I wanted to try to think of something a little different.  In the end I decided to dust off my stencil and embossing paste.  I haven't done that for a while and I love how it looks when you add embossing powder!  I used my Little B Handwritten Designer Dies, cutting 4 times for dimension and adding glossy accents.  I added a few wood stars to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

I cut out the zig zags using my Stitched Border 1 Dies.  To finish off my card I added 3 different size PPP sequins.

Thinking of You

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge and it went perfectly with this weeks The Paper Players challenge.  It is tic tac toe and I chose the far left row.  I did color wash with my Peerless watercolors in a soft yellow.  I cut the rose diecut from Winnie & Walter 3 times for dimension.  The one sequin isn't really yellow, must be the lighting, it is yellow!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!
