FS132 -Stamp Muse

On Saturday my little brother is getting married!! This weeks Featured Stamper is Stamp Muse and I thought this card would be a great case and turn into a wedding card! This cute little couple is from PysselPassion, I cannot find a link for them, they were purchased a few months ago at the same time I got the stamps for their save the dates. They were colored using Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol, blending stumps and Copics. The daisies have Liquid Pearls, my sister-in-law favorite are white daisies!

Agnes

I made this card for today's sketch challenge on SCS which was fun, but I really don't like this card!!! I don't know what it is, I think this image is so cute and perfect as the lilacs are starting to bloom. I can't put my finger on it but I am just not happy with it. And I don't have time to make another card now, I have errands to run. Sigh. I guess we all have those types of cards from time to time!
The image is from PysselPassion, I found it when looking for other stamps, given I love lilacs I had to have her!! She may not be available now as I couldn't find her on the site. But there are lots of other cute stamps!! I had to quickly back out so I'm not tempted!! I am on a spending freeze which is so hard!!!
Hope you are having a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Wedding Cards

Hi everyone!! I have 2 wedding cards to share with you today. My cousin is getting married in Mexico on Valentines day and I needed to make one to give to them and I told my Grandma I would make one for her to give to them. My first card I did for Kimmie's day six birthday challenges. Her challenge was to use a boy or a girl and flowers!! This image from PysselPassion fit perfectly into the challenge, a boy, a girl and flowers!! LOL!!! I highlighted Agnes' dress with my B00 Copic Marker, her hair colored with E31 and colored Edwin's suit with W5 and W7, his hair was colored using Y21. I highlighted the entire image using Y00. Edwin's tie, pocket, vest and the flowers were colored with B21. I added K & Co pearls to the centers of the flowers in her hair, his suit and her bouquet. I did have enough pears for the dots surrounding them so I used my Liquid Pearls, looks very similar!! The image was cut out using my oval Nestabilities. I cut the Papertrey White Select out using my scallop oval Nestability and then ran it through my Cuttlebug using my Swiss Dots embossing folder. I then took a piece of Spring Rain and attached it behind the scallop oval.

For my second card I used my Cake Topper set from The Greeting Farm. I really wanted to make a card using wedding bells and I think these are so nice!! I stamped them in Versamark and then Encore Silver ink, sprinkled clear embossing powder and heat set. I then cut the image out using my heart Nestabilites. For the large white layer I cut a larger size heart Nestability and then ran it through my Cuttlebug using my Textile embossing folder. I attached that layer to a piece of Silver cardstock from Papertrey. The base card is Papertrey White Select cardstock. Quick simple elegant card!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Save the Date

Hi everyone!! I have a very special project to show you today!! My little brother is getting married and I had the honor of making the Save the Dates for them!!!! They had an idea but I wasn't able to find anything exactly what they wanted, I scoured the net and Splitcoast and finally I did find these cute images at PysselPassion. I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them!!! For the little boy on the far right I used Melwin, I thought he looked so cute and innocent holding the flower!! I thought the same thing for the little girl, Agnes, she is so cute holding her hat!! I only inked her up partially as she would be to long to add the wording at the bottom. I am not finding the cute kissing couple on the site so that image may not be available anymore. This is a Swedish company, and since I could not read a single thing, I emailed them, they are so nice and helpful!! The pricing was real good and the shipping was real fast too!! I colored the images using my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps, except for the skin areas, I used Copic Markers to color in those areas. I used 2 different Papertrey sets for the wording. For the Save the Date and August I used the Wedding Day set, for the remaining wording I used my Simple Alphabet set. What a great set it is to create anything you want to say!!! I used Papertrey White Select and cut them to fit in a standard business size envelope. I attached the white cardstock to Basic Black cardstock to add a bit of a pop! These were very simple and went fairly quickly!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Love

Hi everyone!!! Happy Saturday to you!! And Happy World Card Making Day too!!! I was able to get a card done before going on the cruise today!!!! In February my cousin and his finace' are getting married on Valentines day, I am so happy for them!! I told him 2 years ago she would make a great addition to our family and so happy she will be!!! The bridal shower is tomorrow so I needed to make a card!!! Like I need an excuse *wink*!! Earlier in the week I received this adorable image from PysselPassion. I think these two are so very cute!!! See I was on a mission to find some images very similar to an example my brother and his finace' had picked out for their save the date invites. I couldn't find anything like it but found these cuties and they like them!! I will also be making their wedding invites and so excited to be doing that for them!!!
This image is Agnes and Melwin. I colored them with my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps. I wanted to participate in the Our Creative Corner challenge this morning to use bling, so I added stickles to the flower. You cannot see but the middle of the flower is yellow stickes and the petals are orange. I also added the heart brads from Making Memories. I attached the main image to a Nestability scallop square layer in Basic Black. Attached the sheer dots ribbon that matches the red in their outfits really nice!! The sentiment is from Stampin Up! Wonderful Words which I embossed. Fun card!! Now I need to work on packaging, I have some ideas swirling but nothing for sure yet!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a great Saturday and are able to make lots and lots of cards for World Card Making day!!! I am hoping to get more done after we get back!!
