Sweet Stop Sketch

Hi everyone!!  It's time for another great Sweet Stop sketch!!  I had this adorable Tilda colored and thought she would be great for today's sketch!!  I haven't used my Dew Drops in a long time, so I thought instead of using paper, I would use those!

Cupcakes by Design

Hi everyone! Today's card is for the Hope Stamps Eternal inspiration challenge and Taylor's sketch challenge. I was at my LSS the other day and they just started carrying Tilda's!! Isn't she adorable?! The packages don't have her name or a number and the clerk told me their invoice was in Swedish so they have no idea the names of the stamps they received! I started doing a little research but haven't found her yet. I colored her using my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and Blending stumps.

Tilda

Can you believe it, 3 cards in 24 hours!! Woo hoo!! I checked in on the Basic Grey challenge tonight, I have not participated in a couple of weeks so I wanted to see what was going on!!! Today's challenge is to paper piece which I love to do so I immediately got on it!! It took me a while to decide which image I wanted to use, when I ran into this Tilda I knew I should use her, I haven't in a while!! I stamped Tilda on the white cardstock and then stamped her dress on one pattern of paper and her shirt and shoes on another. My layout is from the Verve release party challenges on Splitcoast, I didn't get a chance to participate in time but Julee has such great sketches I really wanted to use one and this was my favorite!!!

A Sketch & Color Dare

I was talking with my friend Deb (*waving* HI Deb!) last night and she was telling me about a color challenge Color Dare on Riley's blog, so I checked it out today and I LOVE the color combo!! Thanks so much girls!! My card is also for the sketch challenge on Splitcoast today. As always, a really fun sketch!! I wanted to use my Tilda with Cowberry Muffin stamp for this card. My good buddy Denise made a card with her a while back and I fell in love with this image! Thanks for the enable bud (*waving* HI!!), LOL!!! Following today's colors, Pretty In Pink, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White and Going Grey (optional) I colored Tilda with my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps. I colored the paper of the cowberry with my Sakura Clear Gelly Roll pen and I colored the ribbons in Tilda's hair with my Sakura Pink Gelly Roll Pen and Tilda's skin is colored with my Copic E51. The image was highlighted with my C1 Copic marker. I cut the image out using my Large Labels Nestabilites, the Dark Chocolate layer was cut out using my scallop rectangle Nestabilites. The base card is Papertrey White select, I added a layer of Dark Chocolate and a layer of dp from Basic Grey's Bittersweet Paper Pad. Over that layer I added retired SU! ribbon and the image panel is up on dimentionals. I paper pierced around the outside of the layers and my final touch was the pink rhinestones in the corners of the Dark Chocolate image layer.

Paper Craft Plant Sketch

Hi again!! I am on a roll, this is my 2nd post and 2nd Tilda card for today!! This card is for Paper Carft Planet's sketch challenge for today!! Another great sketch!!! I colored Tilda with Flower with my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps. I highlighted her with my clear Sakura Clear Gelly Roll pen and colored her wings with my Angel Wings Shimmerz. Love this stuff, thanks again Pea!! I cut the image out using my curved Rectangle Nestabilites. I left the image in the die and sponged around Tilda with Creamy Caramel, I didn't like the white against the designer paper as it has a bit of a distressed look. The designer paper is from Cosmo Cricket, the Hey Sugar pack. I LOVE this paper, so many fun designs!!!! I initially picked out the paper and went with the colors from there. I don't do it that way very often but I really liked all the different colors in the paper and wanted to use the different combo. It doesn't show in the photo well, but irl Tilda matches much better with the paper!! The base card is Ocean Tides cardstock along with the bow. On the panel under Tilda, I used more Cosmo Cricket but used my Martha Stewart doily punch, I thought it was a neat touch since she is such a cutie!!! Baking Tilda

Hi everyone, happy Saturday!! Today's card is for Taylor's cupcake challenge from yesterday. Another spectacular sketch!! I decided to use my Baking Tilda image for the sketch. I love these Tilda's and have not colored one up in a while!! I colored her using my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps, except for the skin, I used my Copic marker to color in those areas and for the wings, pan and to highlight Tilda I used my Sakura Gelly Roll pens, love a little sparkle!! I cut Tilda out using my Large Lables Nestabilites, layered on a piece of Dark Chocolate cut out using my rectangle scalloped Nestabilites and then a final layer of Raspberry Fizz cardstock using my rectangle Nestabilites. The base card is Raspberry Fizz, a layer of Dark Chocolate and finally a layer of designer from Basic Grey, the Bittersweet paper pack. I used Dark Chocolate and Raspberry Fizz satin ribbon, adding a Prima Flower and in the center I used Warm Lipstick Distress Stickles. I also added the Stickles to the corners of the Dark Chocolate layer that Tilda is on. For the sentiment I used my Paper Tray set from Papertrey, creating "hello note". I stamped the sentiment in my glue pad and sprinkled brown glitter over. It is a very fine glitter so I thought it would be fun to try it out and see how it worked, I like it!!! I added the same Prima flowers, just smaller to each side of the sentiment using Stickles in the middle. I knew the sketch to begin with and everything came together from there, as I went along!! LOL!!!
This card goes out to my friend Shannon, we were talking last night and I got in trouble with her because I had not used my Raspberry Fizz cardstock yet!! She doesn't have any yet and has been drooling over it!! LOL!!! Here's to you Shannon!! I did it!!!

Happy Saturday!!!

Good morning and happy Saturday to you!!! I have a few cards to share with you today!! I am so happy too because I have not had time to stamp this week. This morning I was able to get three cards done, yea!!!! I woke up real early this morning and spent the time working on challenge cards!! The first card I have to share is for the Our Creative Corner challenge for today. The challenge Cindy chose for us today is to use at least 1 button and 1 brad. I have a bunch of buttons but for some reason I don't use them much so this was a perfect challenge to dig them out!! The image I chose to use is my newest Tilda stamp, Tilda with Lilacs. I absolutely love lilacs and they didn't last real long around here so I wanted to make a card with her!! When I purchased this Tilda I also purchased the tree swing she is sitting on, I just love this swing!! I colored Tilda and the tree with my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps. I cut both her and the tree out and mounted on Soft Sky. The ribbon is soft sky from SU, the buttons are also SU and the fun brad is Accent Depot. Fun card to make!!!

My next card is for Taylor's cupcake challenge for this week. As usual, a super sketch!! I received this image through the Wish RAK on SCS not too long ago and couldn't wait to color is!! This image is one of the newest sets from My Favorite Things and I just love it!!! I colored the image using my Copic markers. I decided it would be so fun to have chocolate ice cream with hot fudge on top!! The fudge has Liquid Glass applied and the cheery is actually a dew drop!! I was hoping the capture the sparkle of this card, there is sparkle in the dp, the outside of the image and in the center of the dish. I also used dew drops on the sentiment panel. The sentiment is from the Papertrey set Mixed Messages. This is such a great little set!!!! Again I used these fun brads from Accent Depot, trying to bring out the colors in teh dp. The main card and ribbon are from Papertrey, Lemon Tart. I really like how this card turned out!!!

My final card is for the sketch challenge on SCS. I really like the simplicity of this sketch!! I see so many possibilites!!!! The main card I used Summer Sunrise froom Papertrey. It is really hard to see in the picture but it matches pretty well with the o and e in the image. I used Basic Grey dp, my ribbon is lollipop ribbon. The image I used is from Whipper Snapper, isn't he cuuuute?! I colored the image again using Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps and found some silver hearts in my stash for the corners. The area looked too blank. The colors I chose to color the image with was real hard to match a lot of what I already have so I had a difficult time matching things up. Not really sure at all about this card. Maybe it will grow on me!!!

I want to apologize for the pictures today. My laptop seems to be on the fritz and of course I have everything I use on there. I think I better load my program on the desktop! Don't forget to sign up for my blog candy in the post below!!!!

I made this card for Taylor's Friday cupcake challenge. I really LOVE all of her challenges!! I also love these Magnolia Tilda stamps and decided to use this image I received through the Wish RAK for this weeks challenge. I colored Tilda with my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and stumps. Last weekend I had the pleasure of going to Ocean City with my great friends Denise (peanutbee) and Janice (catcrazy), we each brought a bunch of goodies to let each other use, Denise was kind enough to bring her Martha Stewart butterfly punch.
