My card for today is for 2 challenges, the Crazy 4 Challenges to CASE one of the dt members, I chose this card of Barbara's, (isn't her card gorgeous!!) and for Hope Stamps Eternal inspiration challenge, love the colors!! I wanted to incorporate all of the colors in the inspiration photo, I thought I could make it happen with my A Little Argyle set, such a fun set!!

Hi everyone! Today's card is for the Hope Stamps Eternal inspiration challenge and Taylor's sketch challenge. I was at my LSS the other day and they just started carrying Tilda's!! Isn't she adorable?! The packages don't have her name or a number and the clerk told me their invoice was in Swedish so they have no idea the names of the stamps they received! I started doing a little research but haven't found her yet. I colored her using my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and Blending stumps.

Quilted Color

Hi everyone!! Today's card is for the Clean and Simple sketch challenge and the Hope Stamps Eternal Cupcake Inspiration challenge. I thought my Flower Quilt stamp from Whipper Snapper worked perfectly for both challenges! I mimicked the flowers the same as in the inspiration keeping them white with yellow centers. I wish now I had colored the outside of the quilt pink. Oh well!

birthday wishes

Hello everyone. It with a heavy heart I am writing this post and created this card. My Dad passed away Friday morning. Usually when I create there isn't anything else on my mind, I am focused on just the card, but tonight I was thinking of him the whole time. He always liked getting my cards and would say such nice things that made me feel so good!

I was feeling the need to make a card, I had colored this image early in the week for the Hope Stamps Eternal cupcake inspiration challenge, the colors are awesome, I paired it up with Taylor's sketch challenge, I thought they went so well together.

Hope is Faith

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!! For today's card I wanted to use Gina's new set Hope is Faith, isn't this butterfly gorgeous!!! Through the month of February Gina is generously donating $2.00 to the Red Cross for Haiti. The gorgeous paper I used was designed by Theresa Momber, Wings of Hope is digital paper and through February 25% will be donated to the Red Cross. I had colored this image before seeing the digital paper and was so excited to see how well it matched!!! These 2 patterns seemed to go so well with each other but I wanted to use them all!! My sketch is for the release challenge and for Hope Stamps Eternal cupcake inspiration challenge! Lots of purple, my favorite color!!

Happy Anniversary

Hi everyone!! Today's card is for 3 challenges, Mercy's sketch, Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger and Hope Stamps Eternal inspiration. These were fun challenges that went well together!! I dug through my paper drawer for scraps of dp, I wanted all different types like in the Trigger along with colors like in the inspiration challenge. It was a lot of fun picking paper and placing the nesties just "perfect". After cutting, I folded them in half and popped up with pop dots.

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge

Hi everyone!! I found a new challenge!! New to me anyway! And this week they have a gorgeous inspiration piece, you can find it at the Hope Stamps Eternal blog. For a while I was stuck on a birthday theme but it wasn't working so I pulled out my Women of Life set. I haven't used it in a long time so it was due!! I wanted to use Melon Berry and Lemon Tart from Papertrey, it was looking a bit blah so I took a bit of the black from the glasses and doodled around the image. It still needed something so I added glitter around the outside. It still seems a bit boring to me but by adding those two things seemed to help out a lot!
