CSS Group Red White & Blue Hop!!



Hi everyone and welcome to the CSS group hop!  You should have arrived from Vicki's blog but if not, be sure to head over to Stamp TV to start at the beginning, you don't want to miss a thing!!
For this hop Carolina challenged us to make a red white and blue creation!  I used my Stamp it BIG! set for this card, such a great versatile set!!  I first stamped the Thanks and sprinkled blue embossing powder, then stamped the red, sprinkled with red embossing powder and then heat embossed.  I pulled out a couple of oldies but goodies from my stash, silver pearls and the butterfly punch which I used In the Navy and Cherry Red with little pearls in the middle and raised up the sides a bit to make them look like they are flying.  Before attaching everything I scored lines in the middle for a bit of texture.

    Like the navy blue. Good idea to use the scor lines in the middle - I like that idea to add some texture that way.
