Color & Mojo Challenge

Hello!! Tonight I was able to make a card before the baseball game. I actually brought a bunch of goodies and was able to get it done before the game started!! Today in the mail was 2 Whipper Snapper stamps that the "WS Fairy" sent, I was so excited!!! During lunch I colored a couple of images using the colors for todays color challenge (Real Red, So Saffron & Regal Rose) but they just didn't look right. I will probably turn one into a card but I am holding off for now!!

I decided to finally participate in Julee's Mojo Challenge this week. I have been admiring her great sketch challenges she puts on her blog every week but have not participated yet! This sketch was indeed a challenge but I really liked it!! I stamped up my brand spankin' new Whipper Snapper Flower Quilt stamp and colored the red with my Copic marker, the Regal Rose and So Saffron with SU markers. The "Cherish" sentiment is from Stampin Up's set Warm Words which I embossed with red embossing powder. For the scallop edge I used my slot punch and the flowers along the side I received from my great friend Janice when we were in Ocean City a few weeks ago. I have been wanting to incorporate them into a card since I got home but was not successful in any of the cards I have made since then. The middle of the flowers are brads and the ribbon is from May Arts. Hope you enjoy the card, I had a great time making it!
