Hi there!! I hope you are having a good weekend!! Today's card is for the featured stamper challenge on Splitcoast. Beth made another great choice!! I had a difficult time deciding which card to case. This is the card that I chose to case, I really liked how she had the Cuttlebug layer and the ovals. In the featured stamper challenge you need to change at least 2 things. I changed the cuttlebug folder (I used Swiss Dots, my favorite!!) and the stamp set (I used Long-Time Friend). I colored the image using my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps. This is my favorite coloring technique!! For the image panel and the swiss dots panel I used Very Vanilla cardstock. Behind the image panel I used Close to Cocoa textured cardstock, to add a little more to the card. The card was too plain when I put it all together so I went rummaging through my stash of "stuff", I found this beautiful ribbon and decided to add Prima flowers with pearls in the center. It still seems this card needs something else but I am not sure what and I don't want it to be too busy or take away from the main image.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by!!
