Taylor's Sketch Challenge

I made this card for Taylor's cupcake challenge. The sketch is a great one!! I used my Whipper Snapper Cupcake image, which I love!! I stamped the image in Adirondak Espresso on Papertrey White cardstock. The foil I colored with my Copic markers. I really wanted to have the purple and pink blend together more, but I need to keep practicing!! For the frosting I applied Liquid Applique and heat set it, then added these little sprinkles over the applique, you need to have sprinkles on your cupcake right?! The frosting and the cherry are up on dimentionals. I colored the cherry and applied liquid glass to give the cherry a nice shine. I cut out the image using my Nestabilites circle, the panel behind the cupcake is Lavender Moon, the newest color from Papertrey which is beautiful!! I cut that panel out using my Nestabilites scallop circle. I attached that to Basic Gray dp, Papertrey White, another layer of Lavendar Moon and the main card is Papertrey white. I stamped the Happy Birthday from Stampin Up's Happy Everything set in Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.
Thanks for stopping by!!

  1. Great card! I haven't eaten yet, so I have to stop myself from eating my computer monitor because of the nice cupcake that is appearing on it!

  2. Your card is so cute. I love how you did the cupcake, even the foil. In fact the foil was the first think I noticed about it. Very striking. I pulled out my Copics for the first time last week, and I need a bit of practice with them too. Everyone else makes it look so effortless. I'm jealous.
