Hi everyone!!! My card for today is for the High Hopes 2nd challenge on their blog!!! I am having a great time visiting over there, the challenges and blog hopping are so much fun!!!!
For this challenge, we were to use the colors green, blue, brown and another neutral. I used too much blue, the "green-blue" is looking more like blue, ack!! I thought Gilbert would be cute in different colors!!! I used my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps. I used my Water Robins Nest Dew Drops and Espresso Bella Baubels coming from his mouth and in the corners. I then took my scallop oval Nestabilities and cut a piece of Cool Caribbean. I then ran that through my Cuttlebug using my Tiny Bubbles Embossing folder. I then took a classic oval Nestability and ran it through my Cuttlebug, I also took a piece of Acetate and attached it to that layer. You can't see it in the photo but I wanted to give the appearance of looking through glass!! I didn't want to add much more, I wanted Gilbert to be the star of the show!!! Fun challenge!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
