Simply Friends Forever & a Sketch

Hi everyone!! I have a couple of cards to share with you today. For my first card, I was going to sleep a few nights ago and had a lightbulb moment!! LOL!!! Love when that happens AND the card turns out how you like it!! I chose a newer color from Papertrey Ocean Tides as my base card, ink and ribbon. I used my Simple Little Things set from Papertrey that I received last year from their "Come Grow With Us" program. This is such a fun versitle set!! I had a hard time deciding which image to use!!! I stamped the image in Ocean Tides Palette Ink on Vintage Cream cardstock from Papertrey. I then used my SU punch, perfect!! I punched out a larger cirlce with the Ocean Tides cardstock. I attached the Ocean Tides Satin Ribbon and attached the circles where the ribbon comes together. I then used my Ornare Paper Piercer and pierced along the two sides. Quick easy and I am pleased with how it came out!!

My next card is for the past Wednesday's sketch challenge on Splitcoast. It is a great sketch for a bit larger images!! I have been wanting to use this fun set from Treehouse Stamps, Sledding Fun Reminds me of when the boys were little and we would take them sledding!!! I colored the image with my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps. The base card and image are Papertrey White Select cardstock. The main image is attached to a small layer of Basic Black and then a layer of Brilliant Blue. I added some Treehouse Vanilla Ice Cream Chunky Glitter below the sled. I absolutely LOVE this chunky glitter, it is so fun and sparkly!! My final touch was to add Tan Fun Flock to his tail!! I decided to stamp the sentiment along the side, seemed to work best!! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
