Today's card is for Taylor's sketch challenge and a first time color challenge for me, on kwernerdesign's blog, to use Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White. It is no secret that I LOVE pink and browns together *giggle* so I HAD to participate in the color challenge!! I was digging through my stash of designer paper with a different paper in mind until I ran into this Wild Asparagus paper and I thought it would be perfect!! I started out with a Pink Pirouette base, added a layer of Dark Chocolate and then attached my dp. I cut a piece of Close to Cocoa and Papertrey White Select in 1" squares. I stamped the bottom portion of the cupcakes from my It's A Celebration set in Close to Cocoa and the icing in Pink Pirouette as a guide for the additions I was going to make!! I decided to use these yummy Doodlebug Bon Bon Sugar Coating Glitter, Girly Girl Chunky Glitter and Ivory Flower Soft. I then stamped the Celebrate using Close to Cocoa ink and cut out using my Ribbon Tag Nestabilites, I wrapped Pretty In Pink Grosgrain around the dp and Dark Chocolate layers. I wish I could have captured all the sparkle the 2 glitters give, so pretty!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
