Sparkle

Dawn has a great color challenge on her blog!!! For this challenge the colors are chocolate, creme, kraft and bright pink, how fun!!!! When I first saw Papertrey's With Sympathy set I knew I would want to use the images for more than sympathy cards, they can really be used for anything!!! Today's card doesn't have a specific purpose yet but I love the colors and thinking about what to do!!!! I knew I wanted to use this image and almost used flower soft instead of glitter but in the end I thought the glitter would be more fun!!! I stamped the stems in Dark Chocolate ink and the top portion in Versamark, ran the layer through my Cuttlebug using my circle Nestabilities to emboss, ran through again to cut out using my Nestabilites Labels Three, I then applied my Scrappy Glue and dumped Doodlebug Bon Bon Sugar Coating Glitter on (messy but fun!!). The stems were then stamped in Versamark along the bottom of the Vintage Cream cardstock though it is hard to see in the picture. I punched out the butterflies using my Martha Stewart punch with Raspberry Fizz cardstock and added Taylor's Tiny Twinkles in the middle. On the Dark Chocolate layer I used my Fiskars Rope punch, thought it was kind of fun!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
