I'm a much better person...

Now this was fun!! I have been wanting to try the Crayon Resist technique for some time, in fact I think it was last summer that I bought a small box of crayons to try it out but haven't until now. Thanks to Gina on Stamp TV she gave me the push I needed!!
I decided for this card I would use the goodies I have won from Gina (thanks SO much!!!), I won the color challenge a while back and I chose Elegant Flowers, I love this set, it is so beautiful!!! Then Gina posted a question on her blog asking for interest in unmounted stamps, lucky me she picked my name and I was able to pick which set of Nestabilites I wanted!!! I chose the small octagon, love these!!!
I hadn't cut out the leaves from this set yet so I left two of them together and stamped in Memento Tuxedo black on glossy paper. While that was drying I stamped my flower and cut out the circle and octagon. I colored the leaves in with a white crayon, I wasn't being careful which was kind of fun! I don't think you can tell but I used 3 green colors. You can definately tell I am a newbie with this technique but I had a lot of fun with it (and hubs actually thought it was pretty cool too!) I will be using it again!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
