September PTI Blog Hop

The theme this months Papertrey Blog Hop is reusing and recycling any portion of the packing from our order!! How fun is that!! I decided to make a card using the Faux Silk Technique and using the tissue paper! I have not done this technique in a long time, I love the look so it was time to do it again!! I randomly stamped the stockings on the tissue paper, crumpled it up, applied Modge Podge to the cardstock and applied the tissue paper. Fast, easy and pretty!!! I wanted to go with different colors than the traditional holiday colors, plus I LOVE the new forumulated inks!!! I cut the sentiment out with my Ribbon Tags Trio and simply wrapped the ribbon around the layers. The base was scored using my Scor-Pal.
