Hi everyone! It's been a while! Things have gotten pretty crazy around here, I'm not sure how regular I will be able to post but I am going to try to get better! I wanted to make a card using my Year of Flowers: Daffodil set, such a gorgeous set!! I haven't used my Twinkling H2O paints in a long time and thought they would be fun to use on the flower. It took me longer to cut out than paint! Because the paper didn't dry flat, when gluing the flower to the base, I purposely didn't flatten it out, I like how some is raised.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Year of Daffodil, Everyday Classics (2009 Anniversary edition)
Paper: Papertrey White
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark
Tools/Accessories: Black Embossing Powder, Twinkling H20's, Black Satin Ribbon
This is such a pretty card using the daffodil. I love how the flower does not lay entirely flat.

ReplyDeleteLori - love this card! It is so pretty with the Twinkling H2Os. I really need to use those more - they are simple but add so much. Really lovely! Hope life has settled down for you a bit and you have a great spring!
