Dirty Dozen Challenge Card

Good evening!! The card I wanted to share with you tonight is one I made for the Dirty Dozen Challenge on Splitcoast. I did a double challenge for this card. The central theme challenge was to make a male card and the materials focus challenge was to use metal. I chose to use my For Father set from Stampin Up for this challenge. I really love this image, the puppy is so darn cute!! I colored the image with my Copic markers. I had to keep going over the puppy because the coloring just wasn't right. I don't have a lot of the Copics, almost the entire set a so sometimes getting the look is a little tricky for me! I distressed the edges of the Very Vanilla and Basic Black cardstock. I found these cool snaps in my stash that I completely forgot I had! Keeping with a simple design I tied the black ribbon in a knot, don't want a bow for a male card!! I probably should have put the ribbon on differntly as adding a sentiment wouldn't look good. The 2 layers are attached to Creamy Caramel cardstock.
I am busy working on a few cards for the Papertrey Guest Star Stamper monthly contest and I need to make a fathers day card. As soon as I am finished I will get those up on the blog!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
