Happy Saturday to you!! I made today's card for Lauren's Saturday sketch challenge. In her example she made a scrapbook page but I chose to make a card. A couple of days ago I received a wonderful package from my good friend Denise. In the package were some of these great images!! This image is from Rubber Cottage, the name of the stamp is Quilt/Chair. You can see Denise's beautiful card here. I could not wait to color this image and make a card with it, so yesterday during my lunch break I colored the images using my Copic markers! I highlighted the imae using my Sakura clear gel pen, adds a bit of sparkle! I wasn't sure how I was going to make a card out of it until I saw Lauren's sketch and thought this image would be perfect!! I embossed the image using my Nestabilites rectangle dies. I then attached that layer onto Chocolate Chip cardstock. The main card is Papertrey White Select cardstock. I have been using this cardstock a lot lately, I just love it!! I embossed and cut the sentiment layer using my Nestabilites circle and attached that to Chocolate Chip cardstock using my Nestabilites Scallop Circle dies. I don't have any get well cards in my stash and thought this beautiful quilt card would make a nice get well card for someone. The sentiment is from Papertrey Mixed messages set.
I hope you are having a great weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!!
