Oh My!

WOW!!! This week has gotten away from me!! I cannot beleive it is Thursday already!! But I took today off of work so I can have a nice 4 day weekend!!
My first card today I used my favorite stamps, High Hopes!! As I have mentioned, I just LOVE them!! They are such great stamps and I have a great time coloring!! The images I used are Jungle Background and Neil Diamondback. I was lucky enough to trade some images from my good friend Shannah who also loves High Hopes Stamps!! I colored the images using my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps and mounted the main panel on Stampin Up! grey cardstock. The card is River Rock cardstock from Stampin UP!, Neil Diamondback is cut out and up on dimentionals. I didn't want to hide too much of the Jungle Background, it is so fun!! On the main image I used my ticket corner punch just for a little something. This card was a lot of fun!!


My second card for today is for the Ways to Use it challenge on Splitcoast. For this challenge we were to have some scoring on our card. My DS3 was kind enough to take me to lunch today and as we were driving home this idea came to mind. I used Papertrey Select White cardstock, used the largest rectangle Nestie I have and embossed the cardstock. I used my Scor-Pal to make the lines from the corners to the corner of the embossed corner. I then used my Whipper Snapper Flower Quilt stamp and stamped in the middle of the embossed area. Since Independence day is tomorrow I really wanted a red white and blue theme. I colored the image with my Copics and added some crystals to the centers of the flowers on the quilt. I thought it needed a little more so I added the red ribbon to the top.
Starting tonight on the Wish RAK on SCS there will be 16 challenges through tomorrow that I am hoping to participate in!! I had such a great time when we did this over Memorial Day weekend and would like to do it again!! So I may have quite a few cards to share with you over the weekend.
