Featured Stamper and Taylor's Challenge

Hi Everyone!! Hope you are having a good weekend!!!

My first card today is for Taylor's Cupcake challenge. I have not participated in a while and I have really missed her great challenges!!! I really wanted to use this new image I received from Rubbernecker, I love malts and have for years and years so I had to flip her sketch!! In deciding on the colors, I really wanted to make it look "vintage", I asked hubs if I achieved that and he thought so. I colored the image with my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps. I don't think you can tell from the picture but I used the silver pencil on the spoon and cup. For the shake I added Ruby Red Liquid Pearls, the cherry I used Christmas Red Stickles and the cherry stem I used my green Sakura Gelly Roll pen. I found these fun nailheads in my stash and thought it worked well for the corners and to take up some of the white space.
My second card is for the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoast. I don't recall if I have mentioned it before but the Featured Stamper challenge is my favorite challenge on Splitcoast!!! Love browsing all the wonderful galleries that are picked out each week!!! This weeks featured stamper is Card Crazy and she has a great gallery!!! This is the card I chose to case. I really liked the layout and the differnet papers she chose!! I will be sending this card to a friend of mine that gathers cards and sends them to our troops!!! I love helping her out and sending cards for them!! They sacrifice so much for us and I want to be able to help this way!! I used my Noble Deer stamp set from Stampin Up! and colored the image with my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps. I cut the image and brown panel out using my rectangle Nestabilites. I don't have an inbetween size so I just used my paper cutter for the green panel. The wonderful designer paper I received in my Secret Exhange package from Audrey, it is wonderful paper!!! The main layer and the ribbon are Dark Chocolate from Papertrey, beautiful!!! The sentiment was cut out using my oval punches from Stampin Up! and the sentiment is from my Simple Little Things anniversary set from Papertrey.
Thank so much for stopping by!!! Have a great rest of your weekend!!!
