High Hopes Challenge 4

Hi everybody!!! Sorry I have not been around this week!!! I think I am fighting a cold or some kind of bug. I would make it through the work day but felt pretty horrible in the evening. When I am not feeling well, I have NO mojo!! Thank goodness it wasn't gone for long!!! This fun little box is for last Sunday's High Hopes challenge, anything but a card. Initially I was going to alter a tin but then I saw this great tutorial on Carolyn King's blog and knew I had to give it a whirl! I LOVE my Scor-Pal but just don't use it to its full potential. This box was fun, easy and fast to make. Thanks so much Cammie!!! I used my brand new stamp Santa Portrait from High Hopes Stamps. Isn't he the cutest!!! I colored him with my Copic markers and added Liquid Applique on the trim and ball of his hat. Before heating I added some glitter for sparkle but you can't see it in the picture. After cutting out the image with my circle Nestabilites, it seemed to need a little something so I pulled out my Robins Nest Dew Drops. I LOVE those things!!! I attached the main image to a layer of Basic Black using my scallop Nestabilities. I used Pure Poppy cardstock from Papertrey to make the box, after assembling the box, I found this fun paper in my stash, scored it and wrapped around. I used Pure Poppy Topnotch Twill from Papertrey to make the handle. I attached the image panel. Fun and easy. I'm sure I will be able to use this for a Christmas gift this year!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
