First Kiss

Hello!! Today during break I colored this image. I just love Sarah Kay stamps and really like this First Kiss (available from Treehouse Stamps) image!! I colored the image using my Copic markers. I got a couple new markers and couldn't wait to try them out!! When I sat down to put the image into a card, I drew a complete blank!! I cut the image out using my rectangle Nestabilites and the Dark Chocolate out using my rectangle scallop Nestabilites. Then I was stuck. I went searching for sketches and decided on a sketch challenge on Splitcoast. The base card is Lemon Tart from Papertrey. This yellow is the most beautiful yellow!! Not too bright, it is perfect and so fresh looking!! I applied a piece of Dark Chocolate and then a piece of designer paper from Papertrey's Father Knows Best pattern paper. For the diamond shape, another piece of Dark Chocolate and another piece of Lemon Tart that I ran through my Cuttlebug using my Swiss Dots embossing folder. I applied the image panel and then added Dark Chocolate satin ribbon to the top, tying it in a knot. Once I figured out the sketch, it came together so well!!
