Pinky Gilbert

Hi everyone!! Today's card combines 2 challenges, for the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoast and the High Hopes Challenge!! This weeks featured stamper is jaydekay and this is the card I chose to case. For the High Hopes challenge we were to use dry embossing in our card. I love my Cuttlebug and dry emboss folders so this challenge was perfect!! After going through my High Hopes stamps a few times I decided to use Gilbert, I really like my Tiny Bubbles embossing folder and they go so well together!! I colored Gilbert with my Copic markers and highlighted him with my Sakura clear Gelly Roll pen for a little sparkle in the water!! After cutting the image out using my Nestabilities Labels One, I kept it in the die and sponged Papertrey's Spring Rain Palette ink. I cut out a piece of black cardstock to add some pop since I had predominantly blue cardstock and designer paper. The base card is Papertrey Select White, I found this designer paper in my stash, I thought it went perfect with Gilbert!! I ran a piece of Spring Rain cardstock through my Cuttlebug using my Tiny Bubbles embossing folder and took my Spring Rain Twill tape to tie a knot. I added Spring Rain Robins Nest Drew Drops to go with the bubbles in the background!!
