TLC202 - Tacky Glitter and a Sketch

Hi everyone!! I have a couple of cards to share with you today!! My first card is for today's Technique Lovers Challenge on Splitcoast. We were to apply tacky tape and add glitter!! Fun easy and sparkly!! I used my new Lelo Furry Friends stamp now available at Treehouse!!! I fell in love with this image as soon as I saw it, so sweet!!! I colored the image with my copic markers and then cut the image out using my Nestabilites Labels #2, it was perfect for this image!!! Ialso cut a piece of Dark Chocolate with a larger die to mount the main image on. The base card is Creamy Caramel, I added a piece of dp from my Basic Grey Bittersweet pad and then took a pice of GP white cardstock and used my new Martha Stewart Doily Punch that I received from my good buddy Janice for Christmas (*waving* thanks so much bud, love this punch!!). I then took my sticky tape (I use the tape from Taylor, excellent product, lasts a loooooong time at an excellent price!!) and then sprinkled Doodlebug Bon Bon Sugar Coated Glitter over the tape. My final touch was to add the sentiments at the top and bottom of the image from my Mixed Messages set from Papertrey. I tapped it down a bit to besure it sticks and then shook off the excess. You cannot tell from the photo but the image us popped up with Dimentionals. So fast, easy and looks great!!!

My second card is for the Our Creative Corner challenge posted on Saturday. This weeks challenge was a sketch challenge and I had a great time making this card!!! The image is Seymore's Sick Day from High Hopes Stamps. Such a cuuuuuuuute stamp to make into a card to send to someone that is sick!! I colored the image using my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps. I cut the image out using my Oval Nestabilites, and since it was the largest oval and don't have a rectangle big enough, I cut the black layer the image is mounted to and used the corner rounder to soften the corners. The base card is Bravo Burgundy, I added a small layer of dp from Imagince and May Arts Ribbon. I used Papertrey's Paper Tray sentiment set to create the sentiment. I cut it out using my oval scallop nestabilities and then cut out a piece of basic black with a rectangle Nestability and used the corner rounder on those corners as well.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
