Come on Spring!!

I am soooo ready for spring!!! We are supposed to get a bunch of snow tomorrow and I really don't want to see it!! So, I made this spring card for the High Hopes challenge and this weeks Mojo sketch. The sketch really had me thrown but I was determined to do it this week!!! The High Hopes challenge was to sponge. I used Easter Chickadee from High Hopes. I colored the image using my Prismacolor pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps. I haven't colored this way in a while, I must keep up, I'm not too happy with my coloring!! I highlighted the image with my Y00 Copic marker and sponged around the outside using Lemon Tart ink. The base card is Pink Pirouette, added a layer of Lemon Tart and I found this dp in my stash, I thought it was perfect for spring!! The other side is the green. I used my Martha Stewart Doily Punch to cut the Lemon Tart cardstock. I added K & Co pearls along the side. It was a fun card to make once I had the sketch figured out!!
