Kimmie & Taylor's Challenges

Hi everyone!! I have 2 challenge cards to share with you!! My first card combines Taylor's sketch challenge and Kimmie's day 5 challenge to use dp and hearts!! I love this Flower Quilt image from Whipper Snapper. The possibilities are endless!! I love coming up with different color combinations using this stamp!! I colored the image using my Copics. The image is stamped on Papertrey White Select cut out using my Large Label Nestabilites with a layer of Dark Chocolate behind. The base card is Creamy Caramel, a layer of Dark Chocolate and Basic Grey Bittersweet. In the corners and corners of the image I used pink Bella Baubles, I used Dark Chocolate satin ribbon and used my Martha Stewart punch to cut out the Love and 2 hearts.

My second card is for Kimmie's day 1 challenge to make a birthday card with purple. I LOVE purple so this was a fun challenge for me!! I haven't used my Party Koala stamp from Whipper Snapper in a while, I love this one, I think it is one of the very first stamps I purchased from them. I colored the image using my Copic markers, cut the image out using my Large Labels Nestabilites and added to a layer of Dark Chocolate cut out using my rectangle scallop Nestabilites. I added Queen & Co brads in the corners, not the exact purple but I thought they were fun! I decided to make a kick stand card. I haven't done that in a long time either! These are fun cards to make!! My base card is Eggplant Envy. The front is about an inch shorter, I ran my Bravo Burgundy layer through my Cuttlebug using my Happy Birthday embossing folder. I added balloon brads with string and attached the image layer, lining it up so the bottom portion of the image panel lines up with the back of the base. Easy fun and the recipient usually think it is pretty cool!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
