Go Ahead Bug Me!

I had so much fun making this card!! It is for today's Limited Supplies challenge on Splitcoast and for Sharon's challenge!! For the Limited Supplies challenge we were to use no more than 4 layers and we must have a bug. Having a limit on your layers is really tough when you are conscious about it!!! For Sharon's challenge we needed to use at least 1 mat that is white. I don't ever make any cards that have a white mat so I had to be sure to play in this challenge!!! I started out with a Kraft base card and then chose to use Papertrey Dark Chocolate. I used one of the stamps from my Retro Background set and stamped the lines in Dark Chocolate ink. I then wrapped Papertrey's Melon Berry ribbon around the Dark Chocolate and added some of these wonderful buttons, LOVE them!!! They are so much fun!!! I cut out the white mat with Papertrey White Select cardstock using my scallop oval Nestabilites. I cut the Kraft layer using my oval Nestabilites, stamped the nest from my Birds of a Feather set in my glue pad and poured Doodlebug Bon Bon Sugar Coating Glitter and then stamped the eggs in Melon Berry ink. I needed to add a bug into my design, I initially was going to stamp the caterpillar from my Pond Life set on the ribbon but because I added the buttons instead of tying a knot I needed to find a spot for him. Well, I got the idea of him creeping by minding his own business just like he would in a tree!! LOL!!! So he ended up under the nest!! Kind of goofy but I guess it works!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
