Pink Chocolate Hoods

Today's card is for the color challenge on Splitcoast to use Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Riding Hood Red. Pretty color combo!!! I also followed Julee's Monday Mojo sketch. This one had me stumped a bit but it seemed to just come to me tonight, love when that happens!! I started with a Riding Hood Red base, I thought about using the Pink Pirouette but I am not sure if the recipient is a pink lover so I decided against it! I was going to use a different stamp set, but this flower from Papertrey's Life set was already out and on the acrylic block so I went with it (not to mention it is one of my favorite sets right now!!)!! I stamped the flower in Riding Hood Red and the Stem in New Leaf on Very Vanilla card stock. The image panel was cut out using my small labels Nestabilites and adhered to a layer of Papertrey Dark Chocolate cut out using my large labels Nestabilites. I cut out the dp and adhered to a layer of Dark Chocolate cardstock. I realized my dp layer was much larger than the sketch, ds3 was looking at my card and said he liked it better, that made me happy!! I used Pink Pirouette texture cardstock for the small layer and tied a piece of Riding Hood Red ribbon in a bow. The flower panel is up on dimentionals along with the sentiment panel, the sentiment is from my Mixed Messages set, I didn't want a large thank you type of sentiment, this set is so perfect for that!!! I added Chocolate Kaiser Self Adhesive pearls to the sentiment panel and along the side of the image panel.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
