Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #1

I was introduced to Dawn during Papertrey's anniversary celebration and she has become one of my favorite stampers!!! Her work is absolutely beautiful and her color combinations are to die for!!! They are combos that I would never think of on my own, most of them are way out of my comfort zone!!! Last night I was blog hopping and stopped by her blog, I was so excited when she issued a color challenge!!!! Thanks so much Dawn!!!! I LOVE these colors!!! So bright and cheery!!! She did not list specific colors, it is our choice, so I chose (all Papertrey colors) Dark Chocolate, Lemon Tart, White, Summer Sunrise and Hibiscus. I wanted to use my anniversary set and I chose the smaller flower to make a background on the smaller white panel. I stamped the flower in Lemon Tart, Summer Sunrise and Hibiscus and attached to a layer of Dark Chocolate cardstock. I wrapped Lemon Tart Satin ribbon around the 2 layers, then wrapping a piece of Dark Chocolate Twill ribbon over and tied in a knot. The large flower was stamped with Lemon Tart in and cut out using my Labels 2 and attached to a layer of Dark Chocolate cut out using the next size up. I stamped the sentiment using Dark Chocolate ink. My final touch was to add a small Hibiscus button with embossing floss through the holes.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
