Berry Best Birthday

My second card for Dawn's color challenge!! This is the second idea I had which worked perfectly for Lori's weekend sketch challenge!! I went a different route than I normally do with this card. I didn't want to be sloppy but I didn't want perfection either. Even when sponging around the oval I wasn't careful, it was a lot of fun!!
I haven't used my Green Thumb set in a long time and thought Dawn's colors would be so fun with the strawberries!! They were stamped in Raspberry Fizz ink and rolled on the side with Bravo Burgundy ink. I distressed the oval, rectangle layer and around the Bravo layers, I thought it was kind of fun!!
Thanks so much for stopping by again!!!

  5. I love it! So clever to add the shading to the strawberries with a darker ink - it really makes the strawberries 'pop'! Yummy!
