Hope is Faith Blog Hop

Feelings of Hope

Gina challenged the CenterStage Spotlight team to make a card with the new Hope is Faith stamp set using the photo above for inspiration. Check out Gina's blog for all the details on this special stamp set.

Then, stop by these designer's participating in the hop tonight:

Jessica Fick

Lori McAree (you are here :) )

Isn't the inspiration piece Gina picked out for us gorgeous!!! When I first got my set I stamped a few images and started coloring, this butterfly is a lot of fun to color!! It just so happened I colored this butterfly that worked for the challenge, love when that happens (and believe me, it isn't that often)!! When deciding on a layout I pulled out my Basic Grey Indian Summer paper, bingo, another match!! And I love the serene look of the dp, it really is perfect with the butterfly!! I cut the butterfly out and folded in the wings a bit, when attaching I added glue to the body, then piercing below. I stamped the image on the white paper to tone down the yellow a bit (I was worried it might be too much) and flow better with the base. I had a ton of fun making this card, I hope you enjoy it!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
