I'm having a ton of fun making my own patterns with Tami's Perfect Plaid's set!! I'm in love!! :) With different colors and sizes of the stamps, the possibilities are endless!! For today's card I thought I would go with a masculine theme, I think the gray blue and ivory are great masculine colors!!
I've been so drawn to using blues lately I made myself use a different color for this card and red was perfect!! I wanted to use the red gingham paper from Winter Whimsy and the red Satin Gold-edge ribbon is so pretty, I had to use that too!! Isn't this snowman darling?! I used a pom-pom I had in my statsh on his hat along with Liquid Applique and glitter!!
I hope you've enjoyed the hops this week, I love creating the cards for you!!

ReplyDeleteI have to confess: I've been on this blog hop from the beginning and this is the first I recognized there are two snowmen - one with mittens, one without, and their scarves and hats are different. The different scarf and hat I had noticed earlier but thought the changes were made by the cardmaker. It was the red mittens on this guy that caught my attention. Thanks for making me see the light!
ReplyDeleteElegant first card, Lori and the second card is so cute-- thanks for the idea of using a pom pom on the hat - why didn't I think of that :D
