Sketch Challenge - A Hug for Ike

Hello!!! My card for today is for the sketch challenge on Splitcoast. I used this adorable image A Hug for Ike from Whipper Snapper. I love this image, so very sweet!!! I colored this image a while ago and for whatever reason never turned it into a card and today's sketch is perfect for it!!!! I colored the image using my Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol and blending stumps. I was really stumped on what colors to go with. For some reason when I think of winter, I always think blue which wasn't going to go well with the image!!! I found this paper in my stash and thought it went well. I applied liquid applique along with glitter under Mike and Ike. I found these little snowflakes in my stash and used the rest of them for the card!!! I am on a mission to use what I have and not purchase anything else for a while so it felt good to use these up!!! The base card is Dark Chocolate from Papertrey. Love the color!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!!

  2. Where do I sign up for this mission you are on of using up what I have? Ha! This is a darling card. I especially love the color of the bear. I don't see off white coloring very often and it makes him look so real.
