Going Green

I have had a horrible headache all evening but I could not stop thinking about Tracy's sketch challenge (my first time participating, thanks for the great sketch Tracy!!) and the central theme challenge on Splitcoast so I decided to put my headache aside and make a card! Every month fan club members can play along with the dirty dozen and participate in the challenges!! So fun!! This month's theme is going green and when I saw the central theme, I immediately thought of my much loved Life set from Papertrey!!! As I was thinking what to do, I thought of using my Flower Soft on the image, I love this stuff!!! I stamped the image using Papertrey's New Leaf ink and stamped off twice to give a shadow look!! I received my white and cream buttons from Papertrey a few days ago and found the perfect button for the card!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
Stamps: Papertrey Life
Ink: Papertrey New Leaf
Paper: SU Very Vanilla & Papertrey New Leaf
Accessories: Square Nestabilities, Birds and Swirls Embossing Folder, New Leaf Ribbon, Papertrey Cream Button and Pale Green Flower Soft

  1. Really beautiful! Love seeing the Flower Soft and how yoy stamped off the iamge...adds so much dimension to the card. Great job on Tracy's Sketch Challenge! Tinla

  2. Lori, really liking the simple elegance of this card; with the embossing and the use of flowersoft on that flourish is very nice!!! Great take on this week's sketch!!!

  3. What a beautiful card Lori!! I feel as if I could reach out and touch this goregous flower. I'm so tickled you played along with this week's challenge. I hope to have you return again & again!

Thank you so much for visiting and taking the time to share your thoughts with me!!
