Hi everyone!! This is one of the cards I mentioned in yesterday's post that I made but hadn't post because the week got away from me!! Linda had a great challenge on our Papertrey Peeps blog, about travel or vacation. Thanks Linda, it was a fun challenge!! I've always thought it would be a lot of fun to ride in a hot air balloon. I've never checked into it and honestly I don't know if I could go through with it, but I really do think it would be fun to float along and see everything from the sky!! Maybe some day!! To add something to the bottom of the card I stamped the stems from With Sympathy, and I used white flannel fabric to cut out the clouds.

ReplyDeleteWhat fun, Lori. Such a different idea to use flannel for the clouds. Come on over to Lancaster County, PA. There are balloon rides over the Amish farm country all the time, I could wave to you as they go over the house. Love the light and airy feel of your card. What a delightful get-away!!

ReplyDeleteSweet little card, Lori! My mom went on a hot air balloon ride when I was about 3 years old, she had a blast! You should look into it!

ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card, Lori! I love the colours of the balloons! I've never been in a hot-air balloon but we treated my dad to a trip in one for his 65th birthday and he loved it! Though they had a bit of a rough landing LOL!

ReplyDeleteLove the balloons on the kraft Lori! And those clouds just look like they need to be touched. Using the With Sympathy stems is such a creative idea for the grass - and I think its a fabulous touch!
ReplyDeleteLove the balloon colors and the flannel clouds are a perfect touch! I have heard such wonderful things about balloon rides--so peaceful! I love to watch them but not sure if I could go up in one!!
