I wanted to step out of the box a bit for this card so I used one of the smaller images to create a background. I used clear embossing powder and randomly stamped the pattern. This sentiment is one of my all time favorites so I could not resist using it!! You can barely see it but there is a butterfly under!
Tami's new set is perfect for any type of masuline card you will need! To me this image was just screaming bold primary colors!! I tried to give the look of each layer "jumping off the page" but still a single layer. I haven't ever tried this before but it seems to look a bit like that to me! I scored lines at the bottom and used my stars embossing folder for the top portion.

ReplyDeleteLori, great Ideas! I like that your cards are simple and fast to make but yet they are both still VERY NICE CARDS!!! It sometimes seems hard to find the time to make a card fast as some require so many steps etc, but these 2 look very easy to get done when in a crunch for time! GREAT JOB!!!

ReplyDeleteLori, love those cards. They are more CAS but I think that is so super that you can do cards like that and still have great designs. I can see where the Wild Flowers sets has such nice images to add to make your own backgrounds for cards too. Thanks for the super ideas for CAS. That is my kind of cards to make so often when time is limited.
