GKD Inspiration Hop Day 1

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of deeply etched, pre-cut Gina K. Designs stamps! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

I wanted to step out of the box a bit for this card so I used one of the smaller images to create a background. I used clear embossing powder and randomly stamped the pattern.  This sentiment is one of my all time favorites so I could not resist using it!!  You can barely see it but there is a butterfly under!

Tami's new set is perfect for any type of masuline card you will need!  To me this image was just screaming bold primary colors!!  I tried to give the look of each layer "jumping off the page" but still a single layer.  I haven't ever tried this before but it seems to look a bit like that to me!  I scored lines at the bottom and used my stars embossing folder for the top portion.

Check out all the amazing designs and inspiration:

  3. Lori, great Ideas! I like that your cards are simple and fast to make but yet they are both still VERY NICE CARDS!!! It sometimes seems hard to find the time to make a card fast as some require so many steps etc, but these 2 look very easy to get done when in a crunch for time! GREAT JOB!!!

  6. Lori, love those cards. They are more CAS but I think that is so super that you can do cards like that and still have great designs. I can see where the Wild Flowers sets has such nice images to add to make your own backgrounds for cards too. Thanks for the super ideas for CAS. That is my kind of cards to make so often when time is limited.
