Hi everyone! This weeks CAS-ology challenge is blush. My first thought when I saw the challenge was blushing cheeks but I've been in a silhouette mood lately so I decided to play with my gelatos and use one of my pink colors and do a bit of a wash on the cardstock. I couldn't find my watercolor paper,( not sure what I would have done with it, haha) and it did warp the paper some but I didn't use a lot of water so it isn't too bad. I swept the brush over the paper quickly a couple of times, dried it with my heat gun and heat embossed the flower and sentiment from My Favorite Things Peaceful Wildflowers with silver embossing powder, so soft and pretty irl! To finish it off I added a few rhinestones.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!
This is such a pretty card. Your pink/blush wash really sets off your image and sentiment. This card is a very good example of classic CAS. Thank you for playing along at CASology this week.
