Hi everyone! Today I have a card for the Pretty Pink Posh watercolor blog hop!
I love making watercolor backgrounds and for this card I was able to use 2 new to me distress ink pads, Mowed Lawn and Seedless Preserves. I applied the ink pads directly to the paper and sprayed with water to blend. I dried with my heat gun and sprinkled water. I then cut out the layer using my Stitched Borders 2 die, the sentiment is from my Simon Says Stamp Friendship Messages, cut out using Stitched Borders 3 Dies and heat embossed with Platinum Embossing Powder. I added a few sequins and tied a bow to finish the card.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!
How fun is this card!!!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the way the white flower pops against those dark colors. I never would have thought to combine those Distress inks, but the fact that you didn't let them blend too much makes it work. Tfs! ~ Andrea
